F-One Strike V2 vs. V1 Wings - Worth the Upgrade?
Out on the water riding, the experience, how the wing delivers power, what kind of power it has, what it's best suited for, how the stability is, how intuitive the wing is... I think that's really what makes a phenomenal wing and makes one stand out from another. Because there are so many in the industry now, it can be hard to pick. The Strike v1 made a name for itself by having that lift. It wanted to lift you off your feet, drag you downwind, and create that momentum immediately. It's

Winging Gear choices - Going too small
As Jesse shows in this video, being overly optimistic and overconfident is a common failure of experienced foilers and windsport enthusiasts when getting into wingfoiling. It leads to frustration, bad gear choices, and unnecessary difficulty in this new sport. I’ve heard countless similar stories from customers and pro riders alike. Slingshot pro rider and designer Brandon Scheid hated winging at first, but now he's hooked. That’s partially why it’s so exciting: everyone has

Wing Foiling | One Important Reason We Love It So Much
We're kicking off a new series about why we love wing foiling. We'll get a conversation going and talk about wing foiling and share unique stories as to what sets the sport apart.
For this first video, I wanted to talk about accessibility. You can set up a wing and ride on any body of water with almost any type of conditions, from terrible, gusty wind to light wind, or rising wind and big waves.
This has opened up a new world of exploring for me and expanded my water time exponentially. I've go

North Nova Review
The North Nova wing foiling wing is North's first wing. While it is first gen, they have taken the time to get it right. There is a good deal of refinement that I would expect from a second or third gen wing.
First thing that stands out is the color. Sorry, I know, that's a silly thing to talk about, but the black and teal really stands out.
I used this wing in a wide variety of conditions from light to lit on the 5m. The wing is compact but powerful. It rides upwind. It has great powe

F-One Strike Review
Hey everybody, welcome back to Wing Wednesdays with MACkiteboarding.com. I'm Tucker and today we're going to talk about the F-One Strike. I've put a few sessions into it and I am extremely impressed with this wing.
To my review- I have ridden this wing probably about four times now, and every time I am more and more impressed by this wing.
First time out
I had great conditions: early 20s, perfect waves, side-on conditions... and as expected, it was phenomenal. Great power, amazing upwin

UniFoil WIng Review
Today we're going to review a wing I've had on my list forever. Unifoil is actually a foil brand taking a fresh look at the design of a wing. I found that I truly enjoyed this wing on the waves and it had some fun benefits for that style of wingsurfing.
The UniFoil Wing
This is available in 4,5, and 6 meter sizes.
With the wing, I’ve had this for a really long time and I’ve putt it off for far too long. The good news is I have more perspective on this wing than normal.

How To Knee Start a Small Volume Wing Board
With wingers getting more advanced, smaller boards are becoming more popular this year. Getting up on a small board can be tricky even if you are a skilled foiler. In this video we'll break down what a small board is, the technique involved and the conditions to learn.
What is a Small Wingfoil Board?
This comes down to the rider's weight. At 195 pounds, a 75 liter wingsurfing board is small for me; granted, once you get used to it, these become easier. Now I can get down to as low as 45

Slingshot Phantasm Review
This is a project that has been in development for years and has a lot of R&D into it.
I have my hands on the 633 version the larger free rider or even wing foil wing.
Fist up, the kit comes in a high end travel case that keeps everything organized well inducing reenforced wing covers that won’t wear out like previous iterations. This all comes included with Hardware, a tool and some lubricant.
Heads up this doesn’t use the standard m8x25 board mounting hardware. You’ll ne

Are you having trouble finding a proper foil? Maybe you're looking for a setup with a different feel? Well, you've come to the right place; there are some many different things to consider when searching for the perfect foil. Things like aspect ratio, surface area, fuselage length, and wing constructions are all parts worth heavy consideration for building your foil.
In this blog, we'll focus on aspect ratio.
What is Aspect Ratio?
It's the difference between t

Wingfoil Stance
Your stance while foiling any craft is a key for the highest performance and ease of use. In this blog we will go over the basics of your stance as it relates to your front and back foot offset from the centerline.
If you’re on a smaller wing keeping your feet closer to the center line. About an inch or two. If you’re riding a larger wing in lighter wind conditions you’ll want to have your feet offset by two to four inches. Your leading food will be near the heelside edge whil

WIngfoiling Jibe Basic
The Jibe is the first transition you need to learn in wingfoiling. Like everything wing, I encourage you to watch this video and practice the wing movement on the beach before taking it to the water. You can develop tons of wingskills without the spills right on the beach.
Keep backhand pressure
The Jibe is a downwind transition. You may switch your feet before or after the transition. You may also chose to simply ride toeside after your jibe. The key to nailing these that I have found
