"Stoking" Stuffers Wing Foiler's Holiday Wish List 2023

"Stoking" Stuffers Wing Foiler's Holiday Wish List 2023

Check out Tucker's "Stoking Stuffer" ideas for the kiteboarder or wingboarder in your life!

1. Ride Engine Air Box Pump

This is something I've been really excited about. The Air Box is a small pump that will pump up your kite or wing for you without having to bend over and tire yourself out before you even get to the water. It gets you the water really fast and efficiently. You just plug it in, set the PSI for whatever you need to pump up your wing or kite, set the box on top of the canopy, then walk away while it pumps up so you can run your lines or get your leashes sorted. It can pump up seven or eight wings and three to five kites, depending on their size and pressure, so you can pump up your friends' kites too. It includes both AC and DC adapters, so I like to charge up while I'm driving around.

2. Ozone Wing Harness Line

If you have a winger that's not yet riding a harness line or doesn't have a harness line for every one of their wings and has to switch it over every time they change sizes, this is a great gift. Can I go and ride without one? Yes, but I'm keeping my arms fresh and riding with more power because I can go out there and not have to worry about being a little overpowered. I can ride better upwind and I can ride faster, and my arms are fresh for learning new maneuvers. My personal favorite is the Ozone V2 harness line. It's a rope style and works with pretty much any wing. It's got a little bit of shock in it so that when you disconnect from the hook, it's going to be more out of your way, and it's also a lot harder to accidentally unhook.

3. Kaohi Double Coil Grip Harness Leash

The Kaohi Board Leash is a MACkite exclusive- you're not going to find this anywhere else. It's a Kaohi double coil leash, but we've done an exclusive project with them, so if you're riding with a harness line we have a really sleek, very easy connection to the harness, rather than using the big cuff on your harness. We've got a Rail Saver on both ends, and that makes it really quick and easy to disconnect from the harness. You can even use it as a leash for your wing in a pinch.

4. Mystic Star Wingfoil Boardbag

The Mystic Star Wingfoil is a great bag. They're robust and the shape fits most boards; just pay attention to your length and your width. They're a really nice product, especially for the price. You can actually fit two boards for most models inside this bag, and it's got a separating pad to put between the two. Usually I put my light wind and my higher wind board in there so I'm ready to go. It's lightweight for traveling because this bag doesn't have wheels, so that drops about 4 lbs off the bag to use for extra stuff. The shoulder strap makes it easy to carry around.

5. Manera Wetsuits

Manera Wetsuits are on sale this year with some smoking deals. Manera is a top-quality wetsuit, and we're really stoked on them here at the shop. A lot of these are thicker, hooded wetsuits so you can get out there in the cold. These do tend to run a little small, and the neoprene is a little stiff out of the box, so definitely size up a little bit, especially if you're wider. If you're tall and skinny, you can size up for your height, but the width is probably going to be pretty good.

6. Dakine Harness/Board Leash Package

This harness package from Dakine includes a harness with the hook, a leash for the board, and a harness line for for the wing, so that's everything you need if you're buying a package.

7. Dakine Wing/Board Leash Package

We also have a leash package if you don't want a harness. That includes a coil board leash and a waist belt, which is not a harness but a belt, and also a wing leash that's got a cuff on it. You can use that one either on the wrist or on the waist belt. It's a smoking deal to get everything you need to get out there and ride safely and have a lot of fun out there on the water.

We hope this list helps, especially if you're not a kiter or winger yourself and don't know where to start. These are some things that we would really like to see under the tree as riders ourselves. This has been Tucker with MACkiteboarding, and we'll see you next time!
