How I Found My Mojo With the Flysurfer MOJO Wing

How I Found My Mojo With the Flysurfer MOJO Wing

The  Flysurfer Mojo Wing is FlySurfer’s first wing, and man—they knocked it out of the park. I used a 5.2m wing in conditions varying from 10 knots to 35. Flatwater and surf. The first thing to talk about is the colors. I am personally a big fan of the blue with the orange accents. It is a sexy look, and identifiable from a long distance. Flysurfer has always done well with the colors. Your friends and family will instantly know which wing is you. The next would be th …

North Nova Review

North Nova Review

The North Nova wing foiling wing is North's first wing. While it is first gen, they have taken the time to get it right. There is a good deal of refinement that I would expect from a second or third gen wing. First thing that stands out is the color. Sorry, I know, that's a silly thing to talk about, but the black and teal really stands out. I used this wing in a wide variety of conditions from light to lit on the 5m. The wing is compact but powerful. It rides upwind. It has great powe …

F-One Strike Review

Hey everybody, welcome back to Wing Wednesdays with MACkiteboarding.com. I'm Tucker and today we're going to talk about the F-One Strike. I've put a few sessions into it and I am extremely impressed with this wing. To my review- I have ridden this wing probably about four times now, and every time I am more and more impressed by this wing. First time out I had great conditions: early 20s, perfect waves, side-on conditions... and as expected, it was phenomenal. Great power, amazing upwin …

Review: Naish Inflatable 135L foilboard - S.F. Joe

Hey there. I bought and finally got to ride my new Naish 135L inflatable this weekend and thought I'd offer a review. POINT ONE: The thing actually works and generally speaking I was impressed...This is my 10th wing board this season and so the reviews will be against those (10' sup, fanatic 6'7", fanatic 5'4", custom carbon 5'4", F-one 6'0, fone 5'4", fone 5,0", Naish 4'8"). My current ride is the Naish 4'8" 50L and had the most influence in my comparison.Setup: I left the board partially …

Cabrinha Crosswing X2 Review

Cabrinha Crosswing X2 Review

We were able to get our hands on the  Cabrinha Crosswing X2 for testing this month. Right out of the gate, it's clear this is an upgrade from the first gen Cabrinha wing which, to be honest, was our least favorite. For the second generation, they have done their homework and made a great competitive wing. The wing has a lot of power for its size. I had the chance to test this on a gusty inland lake with lulls of 14 and highs of 25. When pumping the wing, I found there was a lot of cons …

Naish Ultra Carbon Wing/ SUP Board Review

Naish Ultra Carbon Wing/ SUP Board Review

The Naish Ultra Carbon Wing/ SUP board started off as a SUP board in previous years. However, it became far more popular with wing foilers. So, for 2021 Naish made some modifications to adapt to this new sport. Including new sizes from 40 liters to 140 liters! I’ve been using the 85L myself. At 195 lbs this is the perfect do it all board for me on. This would be ideal for someone around my weight that wants an intermediate to advance do-it-all wingsurf board. It worlds well for me in a v …

Airush Freewing Review

Airush Freewing Review

This summer, I’ve been using the 4 and the 5m Airush freewing. These are solid chunky wings with some surprises up their sleeve. They are medium to low aspect wings with a not so large wingspan that makes whipping and flipping them around a breeze while doing more advanced maneuvers. The graphics are basic and clean with a mature look that I think are kind of cool in its own right. The windows are quite large and they sit really far forward on the wing. Windows are not all that useful to …

Fanatic Sky Wing Review

Fanatic Sky Wing Review

This spring we’ve been fortunate to test a few new wingboards. In addition to my past favorites, the Naish Ultra SUP 110L, 95L, and F-one Rocket Wing 5’4 the Fanatic Skywing 5’4” 95L has also stood out as a next level wing foilboard. Perfect for riders of most levels, it’s nimble, easy for learning (at light to mid weights) without making performance tradeoffs once you are more advanced. This has been my go to board for a few weeks and something tells me, it&rsq …

Slingshot Slingwing V2 Review

Slingshot Slingwing V2 Review

Slingshot was awesome enough to send us the new Slingwing V2. Being on quarantine I had plenty of time to session the beaches near my house. Lucky for me I live in a quiet beach town up north and it's still so cold, our beaches are empty. Like hydrofoiling, foil wings are evolving fast! We’ve had a lot of time on all the different styles and we’re very excited about the new developments on this second generation wing from Slingshot.   The 5.4 is my choice at 200 pounds&n …
