From Wake Poaching to SUP and Prone Foiling

What are some ways to use your new Foil Drive system? The New Gen 2 system has come out and generated a lot of excitement since everyone loved the first version.

Stand Up Paddleboarding

There's a Foil Drive controller that mounts directly to your paddle so you can get up and ride without having to hold your paddle in your other hand. This is going to make this Foil Drive system feel more natural for you when you're getting up and on the waves.

Prone Foiling

Forget paddling! You have Foil Drive. You can use that controller to belly board into waves, get up, and start riding. As long as you mount your propeller high enough on your mast, you're going to get up, ride the wave, and then you can actually pump back to the next wave without having to put the Foil Drive back in the water. It's going to feel just like normal foil surfing, which is something that I've especially appreciated about the product.

Chasing Boat Wakes

Not by an ocean or a large enough lake? Go hit your inland lake and chase boat wakes. You can chase the flat water if you mount that pod high enough on your mast. Get up to speed using Foil Drive, and then you can pump just like normal.

Choosing the Right Board

The only downside to Foil Drive on inland lakes is that you're going to have to use a larger board than your normal pocket board. The Foil Drive just doesn't have quite enough power to get your tiny 3-ft board up and out of the water, so you'll need to size up just a touch. But don't worry! You'll still be riding a small enough board where you can rip turns and rip pumping.

Those are just a few ways where you can use your new Foil Drive Gen 2 system to go have fun out in the water. See you there!
