2021 Cabrinha X3 Wing Wind Chart

2022 Cabrinha Crosswing X3 Wing

Sizes: 2 / 2.5 / 3 / 3.5 / 4 / 4.5 / 5 / 6 / 7m

Already into its 3rd iteration, the Crosswing X3 sets a new standard in efficiency and on-demand power.

Detailed work has been done by Cabrinha's R&D team into the wing profile and new radial canopy panel layout to achieve our most high-performing and reactive wing to date.

Through an increased leading edge diameter with load distributing center section construction, we have created an exceptionally stiff framework, which is further enhanced by the X3's innovative double strut. This framework gives the rider the ultimate feeling in efficiency and performance both in the lighter winds, where pumping and efficiency is required, and also in higher winds where stability and control are greatly increased.

Strategic window placements with the combination of the double strut, allow for a wide field of view.

Whether you are boosting to new heights or simply relaxing into your ride, take advantage of all of the X3's new cutting edge technical attributes.

Technology

Cabrinha Crosswing X3 Technology

Rigid handles provide more direct rider input. They allow for precise trim and control with immediate input on the wing.

Cabrinha Crosswing X3 Technology

Our Dacron is specifically designed for inflated kite structures. The construction of this material is very warp oriented using ultra high tenacity yarns with an increased thread count to combat elongation in the warp direction under high inflation pressures. Lower elongation makes for a more accurate kite with less deformation while in flight.

Cabrinha Crosswing X3 Technology

Provides the structure that keeps the kite design true to its intended shape while in-flight. The stable frame drives the kite through turbulence with a minimal amount of deformation and has excellent overall de-power. The inflated leading edge introduces the laminar flow of air across the kite’s Pure Profile panels, for a quick recovery if stalled and prevents the kite folding on itself. The inflatable structure reduces the amount of bridling required for stability. It also provides safety by providing some flotation in the water, and enables easy re-launch.

Cabrinha Crosswing X3 Technology

The Sprint inflation systems is the most efficient and easy way to get your kite inflated and deflated quickly. The enlarged Airlock valve quickly feeds air into all of the struts from a single location. The Airlock connection to the Sprint pump requires no special adapters. Once inflated, you can lock off each strut independently to keep your kite’s rigid frame, and isolate any accidental strut deflation from the rest of the kite. When the session is over, the entire kite will deflate in seconds thanks to the Airlock valve’s large dump feature.

Cabrinha Crosswing X3 Technology

A higher level of performance can only be achieved when the kite’s design properties are supported by a stable and reactive kite material. Nano Ripstop does just that.

Cabrinha Crosswing X3 Technology

The Double Strut™ allows one inflated mini strut to support the canopy profile while the second ‘boom’ strut is designed for precise ergonomics and predictable wing control.

I am not an expert but I love these wings. I do not have other experience than them but I am pretty impressed how they handle. In addition great customer service from Mackiteboarding, the wing did not take long to ship and arrive.

I love these wings. Big Range on the wings along with a very short wingspan. Mac kites always does a great job on shipping them fast and getting them to you safely. Plus their prices are very good.

I love the 6m. The 5m seems like it doesn’t have as much pumping power

I would buy this brand again

my friend and I have now tried the 3.5 4.5 and 6.0 X3 and so far are very pleased.I have been on the 6.0 and 4.5 in gusty overpowered conditions and they handle it very well. The boom system makes the wing very stiff and provides great see through visibility. The handles are awesome.Pumping the boom separately is actually very quick as it does not require much inflation.Good low end power. So far it feels very good.We have used them about 10 times now.Only one minor complaint:the leash is a pita:it gets stuck in the velcro all the time.No biggee but the material is "sticky"

    Great versatile wing

Great 3.5m^2 wing for handling gusts up to 40 knots. The windows provide good visibility. Pumping the strut separately from the leading edge is a bit annoying but worth it for the struts stiffness
