Slick on skates
If you’re a hockey skater and have access to quality ice this time of year the Slick, with its boom , makes for sweet carving out on the ice and quick, seamless tacks, jibes and 360s—and the learning curve is measured in minutes. I was on a borrowed 4.0 m Slick ripping around in 20-25, 25-30 and 30-50 mph winds on consecutive days. Video at the NHL blog dated around 2/5/23 A tempting purchase even if all you do is skate with it.

SLS Slick: feels like I'm cheating!
Can't get over the game changer a boom is. No more struggling to find the back handle, it's intuitive and fun, jibe count went up dramatically. It's like cheating! Can't wait to get the SLS slim diameter boom.

Slick SLS 4.0
Fantastic wing! Very responsive with a very broad wind range. Pumps well in the lulls and handles the gusts without flutter, just acceleration. A great improvement all around from the original slick upwind to downwind "flagging" , riding the swells. The boom makes every move easier. The The MacKite crew delivered, as always.

The Best All Around Wing
This wing is better than any other wing on the market if you are beginner or intermediate (can’t speak for pros or big surfers). It is very fast and powerful. The canopy is so tight which helps for balance. It has grunt. It goes upwind better than any other wing. It feels like the wind is right in your face. It is light. The leading edge and struts are small. It’s very easy to reach under a grab the boom when floating in the chop. When surfing downwind, you can hang off the boom like a hang glider and use the wing to balance (great for people with no surfing background) and feel like a real surfer. Easy to gybe. It packs up very small. Just an amazing wing.
