The new Aluula fabric in combination with new construction features reduces the weight of the wing by up to 15% compared to original constructions and depending on the size. Love this wing
I already have 4m Dlab and love these wings. They have huge wind range and this 5m wing now allows me to wing at wind I was not able to before. My 4m dlab replaced my older 5.4mSlingshot wing, so this 5m would probably replace 6m, that is how wide the wind range is. They also handle very well in strong winds. The handles are big plus, so much better than soft handles. I am able to hold it with just one hand. I also appreciate the fact that these are NOT made in China! I also have non-Dlab 3m, and was considering 5m wing, since these went on sale in was no brainer. They are pricey, but if they last few years, it's worth it.

Awesome wing! Highly recommend!
I upgraded my 2 yrs old Slingshot 4.4 wing for this one (4.0). my old win was really stretched out and kind of flexy. This wing is very stiff and has SO much more power even though it is smaller. I am able to ride in lighter winds where i would normally use 5.4 Slingshot wing (also 2 yrs old, and baggy). Due to the wind range of this wing, i know i will be able to ride it 95% of time. Power - the wing also allows me to get up on the board from the kneeling position much easier (short and small little pumps lifts me up really easy - i was very surprised) This save me the pain in my knees and legs when trying to stand up. It also pumps little differently, At first, small short pumps generates power, then large pumps (very different from my old wing). Handles - i do love them! When gybing, you can throw the wind up little and slide your hand down before switching the hands, or you can slide you hand all the way down during gybe and then ride one handed. That is what i like about the handles - you don't have to switch your hands to get power up after gybe, you can just throw the wing upwards, slide your hand to the bottom of the front handle and have enough power to keep going (this saved me few time from stalling) I was able to also do the "Heineken Gybe"!!. My old wing would flip during the gybe when attempting to throw it around. This wing does not do that so at my first try i was able to do this. Depower - The wing depowers very quickly and also has tons of power.
