Slingshot designed the all-new Slingwing V3 to give you significantly more power per size. Using a smaller wing in the same wind provides the advantages of higher speed and increased control with less weight and drag.
The larger strut and leading-edge diameter provide a completely rigid frame for big airs with tons of hang time. A tight canopy cancels oscillation and flutter to increases luffing performance. The V3's new elongated handle system allows riders to perfectly place their grip for maximum responsiveness.
The One Pump Speed System makes inflation quick and simple, while the added dump valve on the strut makes deflation and packing a breeze. The profile entry batten provides smooth aerodynamic shaping where the inflatable leading edge transitions to the wing canopy for efficient air flow across the wing. Light and tough 4x4 Canopy Tech material, combined with Slingshot's Skate Scuff tough strips on the wingtips and leading edge, provide increased durability for wherever you ride, land or sea. Like its predecessor, the V3 features harness-line attachment pigtails that allow you to use a harness for higher speeds, better tack angles and longer sessions.

Great upgrade to V2
After using this wing about 10 times I find it's a big improvement over the v2 version. It's much more powerful, has a wider range, and the new handles are a big improvement. The simpler handle design is comfortable on the hands, makes adding or removing power very simple (just move hands forward or back), and makes transitions easy. I'm loving this wing -- great upgrade.

V3 Slingwing vs V2
I've been using a 2.5m v3 after using a range of sizes in the v2 slingwings. Here are my takeaways: +V3 much more powerful than V2, can downsize my 1/2-1 size. +V3 has a better leash. +Strut handles are easier to use, just move hands forward to release some power, back for more power. The front handle on the smaller V2 sizes is too far back. As a result I use the diagonal handles in powered conditions. + the leash attaches below the front handle instead of above on the V2. Sometimes the leash on the V2 rubs against my hands. ATtaching below is an improvement. * I prefer the simple inflation system on the v2. The screw on valves sometimes leak and the dump valve on the v2 was so easy to use. * I find the V2 more controlable when luffing -- it's extremely stable. While the V3 is good it doesn't feel as controlable as the V2 -- probably because its much more powerful. - The luff handle on the V3 is slightly larger. I prefer the smaller V2 luff handle because it's stiffer and makes it easier to control the wing.
