Which Reedin Bar Is Right for Me?

Dreamstick V2
The Reedin Dreamstick V2 is simplicity supercharged. Everyone here at MACkite gravitates towards this bar for a plethora of reasons. Auto untwist technology for the super loopers, so you never have to spend half of your tack untwisting those pesky center lines. Coming in at 21mm in diameter, the skinny bar feels like you’re cupping a butterfly. Every once in a while you need to untwist the flag line in the auto swivel. The ease of use with this bar is incredible, all the way down to the seat belt quick release system. If you’re looking for a bar that can do it all, look no further, the Dreamstick V2 is an adjustable length bar that can be swapped from 43cm to 49cm. And if you’re having trouble reaching that wind up top don’t fret, the 22+2 extra line length hidden in the floats has you covered. When running you’re lines you have to be meticulous to get the inside lines on the right side or you will have a crossed line set for your session.
Dreamstick X
The Reedin Dreamstick X is the upgrade we have all been waiting for! Finally a mono block depower with a double hidden cavity inside… and maybe some secrets. The Dreamstick X took all the simplicities from its predecessor the V2… and made it even simpler by reducing the extra cavities for the flag and depower system. The X also features foldable lines, so if the wind is coming down you can adjust those 22+2m lines to a 12m line set with some quick adjustments for a foil session. The X might not be the best bar for loops out of the box. The mono block likes to stick in hard turns. But after a few sessions, some gritty sand and spit, the bar loosens up and becomes such a comfortable bar to loop with. We love how skinny the bar is, especially in the cold, it keeps the circulation in your fingers pumping because your grip is narrower. In turn keeping you on the water even longer.
