2026 Cabrinha Union Foil Review
Tucker and Jeff have an early review of the 2026 Cabrinha Union foil. Cabrinha sent them some prototypes to ride, and so far they're stoked about it. Now they're ready to chat about what it is, what each wing is for, and who might want to pick this new system up.
What Is the Cabrinha Union Foil System?
This is a complete redesign that uses a monobloc construction, with the front and rear wing pieces each forming half of the fuselage. It's streamlined and incredibly stiff, and a few brand

Slingshot's 2026 Glide Craft V1 and Flow Craft V2 | Easy Progression and Surfy Performance
Slingshot has designed a couple new foilboards for 2026, and Tucker and Jeff are pretty excited about them. When you think of Slingshot's Craft line of boards, you might envision a chicken nugget shape, but they've gone back to the drawing board with the Flow Craft and Glide Craft. These have been updated with a sleeker surfy approach and a clean white top that gives off surfboard vibes. What's the difference between them, and how do they feel out on the water?

Affordable Dockstart Foil Kit? Ensis MANIAC STRIDE with HIP HOP PRO Tested
Tucker just got in a session at his favorite (and top-secret) dockstarting spot with the new Ensis Maniac Stride pump foil and Hip Hop Pro board, and he was pleasantly surprised at how good it was for someone as bad as he was at dockstarting. Not that he's a complete novice, but he'd much rather have a wing in his hands and just doesn't put much time into dockstarting. There are those pesky days that are flat across the board, though, so having a decent pumping foil in your back pocket is

Slingshot One-Lock Wake Foil Review: Turbo 180 vs. Flare 145 with the Glide 925
Ryan and Caden were out testing wake gear in Lake Michigan. Caden's been behind wake boats for a while and is currently a Junior on the Michigan State Wakeboarding Team. Ryan's no stranger to the foil but can usually be found riding the wind with a wing. They started out testing various brands, but then a screw decided to take a swim, so the guys switched their focus to the toolless, no-hardware-needed One-Lock foil system from Slingshot. What did they ride, and did they agree on the best

Tech Talk: Code Foils 810X X-Series Front Wing
It's been a long-time coming, but Code's new X Series is finally here. The 810X is the first wing in the lineup, designed for radial turns, aggressive maneuvers, and control at high speeds. If you're an intermediate or advanced rider who want to get the most out of riding in critical zones, the 810X is the wing you've been waiting for.
Why Code Built the X Series
The X Series was born out of the need for more roll, tighter turns, and sharper transitions, especially when winging. Riders wa

How to Use the Ensis HIP HOP Pumpfoil Backpack
Ensis has created a backpack designed for pump foil sessions. Here's all you need to know on what makes the HIP HOP unique and how to use:
Notable Features
The HIP HOP has some pivotal performance features that make it a handy option for carrying around. The huge back pocket lets you easily add a wetsuit, lycra, or towel — anything that you need at the beach to go pump foiling.
One of the coolest things about this backpack is the back panel. It's fully equipped with comfortable padd

North Sonar MA1500 & SF1080 Wake Foil Review
Ryan and Caden have spent plenty of time behind the boat testing North's Sonar foils, and they've found two stellar options for progression: the Sonar MA1500 V2 and the SF1080. First, you focus on the MA1500 V2 to get your progression going. Then, a shift to the SF1080 gives you the play to perform and start learning more intermediate maneuvers.
What is the North Sonar?
The Sonar from North is a fully modular system. You can swap wings, masts, fuselages, and more based on your individual

Breaking Down the Unifoil Evolution Setup | Is It Worth the Price?
It's been a minute since Tucker has done a Unifoil review. But lately he's been out ripping on the new Evolution front wing, so now's the perfect opportunity to correct that and bring an update on what's one of his favorite brands to ride. Of course, that endorsement has to be tempered with the fact that this is a high-end foil with a price tag to match, so the question, as always, is whether the added performance justifies the cost.
What's a Good Setup with the Unifoil Evolution Wing?

SABfoil Sea Devil Hydrofoil | Stable with the Stab, Sketchy Without?
The SABfoil Sea Devil is a wing that looks a bit like a B-2 bomber at first glance, which is pretty cool in and of itself. It's not the first monofoil to hit the market, but it's got a twist that makes this wing more accessible than others. Tucker and Jeff were able to get demos of the 840 and 1040, and they put them through their paces.
What Is the Sea Devil?
The Sea Devil is a monocoque foil design with an optional stabilizer. The idea is that it's two foils in one, as it has completely di

Slingshot 2025 One Lock Flare Stabilizer Overview
Slingshot has a new stabilizer in its One-Lock lineup, and we'll be honest... it's not for everyone. But if it is for you, you are going to have a blast with it. This one is for the rippers, no doubt about it. Tucker took it for a spin to see who the new Flare tail is for, and who it is not for.
What Is the Slingshot One-Lock Flare?
The Flare is a stabilizer, or tail, for the One-Lock foil system. It's a monocoque design, so it's one piece with the fuselage, which is really quite short on th

Slingshot's New One Lock Glide 1525 in Action | Glide, Pump, and Fly!
Slingshot's Glide 1525 for the One Lock System is a fairly big wing, also known as the XXL Glide. It's the largest in the Glide lineup, and Tucker has been out playing on it. He thinks it is going to be a popular choice for a variety of riders, but will it be right for you?
What Is the Slingshot Glide 1525?
As you've probably gathered from its name, this wing is 1525cm2 in area. It has a 1169mm span and an aspect ratio of 9, which makes it a mid-high aspect foil. It's not a massive wing, bu

Code Foils 1250 R | Built for Glide, Momentum, and Flow
Tucker's been on a lot of different foils at this point, so it takes something pretty special to get him excited. The Code 1250R High Modulus front wing is one such foil. Tucker has dubbed it the "Monster Glider Setup" when paired with the long fuselage and the 151R stabilizer, and it does indeed let you fly like a pelican for miles with almost no power, whether that's wind, wave, or pumping.
Design Features
The 1250R has a wide span of 1275mm (50.2in), a very high aspect ratio of 13.0, and

Mid-length foilboards are rapidly growing in popularity and could soon dominate the market, especially as a second board for your quiver. F-One has responded with three offerings in the category, each with a distinct appeal. Jeff and Tucker were able to get their hands on the pre-production models and take them for a spin, and now they're ready to share some early insights on what each one does and who it's for.
What Is Mid-Length?
Mid-length is a rather broad term that can apply to a variety

Slingshot One-Lock System Overview - Gimmick or High Performance?
You've probably heard about Slingshot's toolless One-Lock System by now. You get to the beach, you put your front and back wing sections into the mast, lock it in, and off you go. That sounds amazing, but is it actually a good foil, or are you going to sacrifice quality and customizability for convenience?
Tucker's impressed with Slingshot for tackling some issues that foilers have come to accept as something that comes with the territory, specifically, the challenges that come with using hard
