Parawing Gear | Boards, Foils, and Wing Sizes That Work Best
Whether you call them "hand kites" or "parawings", these soft foils are gaining a lot of momentum for their ability to get packed away and let you surf virtually hands-free without the drag of a wing floating behind you. Tucker and Jeff have been riding a lot of gear with various parawings over the past few months, and they're ready share which setups worked best for them as they transitioned from wing to parawing.
If you are already a skilled winger, you've already got some gear and you ca

FLITELab AMP Jet | A Quick Glance
Foil assist can be a real game-changer for your sessions. You'll catch more waves, have less fatiguing downwinders, and wing on lighter days. There are some great options out there, but they all mount to your foil and come with the tradeoff of added drag. Foil Drive has done a good job of addressing this by allowing you to mount the propulsion unit high on the mast so it's out of the water anytime you're on foil, but FLITELab is looking to take this a step further with the AMP Jet.
What Is the

Waydoo Scooter Kit | Learning to eFoil Has Never Been This Easy or Fun!
Eli had a chance to get out with the Waydoo Evo Scooter Kit, and he was amazed at what a good time he had on something that seems a bit like training wheels. It can be used that way, and it's great for that, but it's also so much more and makes your Evo into something really versatile.
What Is the Waydoo Scooter Kit?

Code Foils 1250 R | Built for Glide, Momentum, and Flow
Tucker's been on a lot of different foils at this point, so it takes something pretty special to get him excited. The Code 1250R High Modulus front wing is one such foil. Tucker has dubbed it the "Monster Glider Setup" when paired with the long fuselage and the 151R stabilizer, and it does indeed let you fly like a pelican for miles with almost no power, whether that's wind, wave, or pumping.
Design Features
The 1250R has a wide span of 1275mm (50.2in), a very high aspect ratio of 13.0, and

MACkite has a new addition to the crew and the winging team, but Skip is no stranger to wind sports or even the shop. Follow along as Jeff and Ryan ask Skip about his journey on the water and how it led to winging. What challenges did he face, and did his prior experience help?

How to Build Your Parawing Setup | One Wing or a Full Quiver?
Parawinging is really starting to take off, but it's still new territory in the foiling world and there aren't many resources to help you choose the right parawing yet. Size Range
Parawings can be found anywhere from 1.5m on up

2025 F-One Plume K-Wing On-Water Review | Between a Kite and a Wing Place?
Tucker's back with a review for the 2025 F-One Plume. It's a... well, he's not quite sure what to call it. It's essentially a small, strutless kite with a handle attached directly to the bridles. It flies much like a parawing, but with its inflated leading edge, it is also similar to a wing. We'll call it a "K-Wing", or maybe just the "Plume" since this hybrid kite-wing is unique.
Regardless of what it is, the real question is whether it works. Why would you want this over a wing or a parawi

2025 KT Ginxu Super K Review | Why This Isn't Last Year's Board
Mid-length, or "midi" boards, have gained a lot of traction in the past couple years. They're versatile and often make a great second board for progressing foilers. The KT Ginxu Super K was released last year, and it was one of Tucker and Jeff's favorites. So how does the 2025 model stack up? Has anything changed?
Actually, yeah. Pretty much everything has changed, other than its classification as a mid-length board. It's a great board for the right rider, but if you loved the 2024 model and

Light Wind Kiteboarding Magic? The Reedin WhisperModel Might Be the Answer
Jeff from MACkite had a chance to meet up with Kevin Langeree of Reedin in Cape Town, South Africa. Aside from the beautiful weather and scenery, Jeff was there to get an early look at the WhisperModel, Reedin's new light wind kite. Although the wind isn't usually lacking at the Cape, Kevin recognized that this isn't the case in many places and felt that was a problem he could solve. The WhisperModel was developed with Damien Girardin and Ralf Groesel of Brainchild and is a kite for people w

Slingshot One-Lock System Overview - Gimmick or High Performance?
You've probably heard about Slingshot's toolless One-Lock System by now. You get to the beach, you put your front and back wing sections into the mast, lock it in, and off you go. That sounds amazing, but is it actually a good foil, or are you going to sacrifice quality and customizability for convenience?
Tucker's impressed with Slingshot for tackling some issues that foilers have come to accept as something that comes with the territory, specifically, the challenges that come with using hard
