2025 Cabrinha Ace Review | Lightweight, Forgiving Flex & All-Around Performance
Brazilian Brothers' Take on the Cabrinha Ace
What's up, guys? It's the Brazilian Brothers from MACkiteboarding, and today we've got a really exciting review of the 2025 Cabrinha Ace. As always, we're going to walk you through its key features and share our personal take on this twintip from Cabrinha.

Ultra-Lightweight Feel = Less Fatigue, Easier Tricks
The first thing you'll notice about the Ace is how light it is. This board feels incredibly lightweight, which we personally love.
There's nothing worse than riding a board that feels like a brick. A lighter board makes board-offs easier and helps you conserve energy during your session. Heavier boards tend to wear you out, especially through your core, but with the Ace, we've found we can ride longer and stay fresher on the water.

Smooth Flex That Eats Chop
Another standout feature is the flex pattern. The Ace has a fairly soft, forgiving flex, which is exactly what we prefer.
We're usually riding in choppy, wavy conditions, and a stiffer board can really beat up your knees over time. This flex helps absorb that chatter, making for a smoother ride and more comfortable long sessions.

Balanced Rocker for Speed and Control
Looking at the profile, the Ace is relatively flat with a moderate rocker.
That combination is key. It helps you build and maintain speed without feeling bogged down. Boards with too much rocker or deep concave can slow you down, which makes it harder to generate the speed needed for big jumps. The Ace strikes a really nice balance between speed and control in rough water.

Locked-In Grip Without Oversized Fins
Grip is another area where this board really shines.
It features deep channels along the rails, giving you excellent edge control. We're riding it with 40mm fins, which are plenty to keep things locked in without feeling overly grippy or restrictive.

Final Thoughts: Who Is the Cabrinha Ace For?
Overall, we're stoked on the Cabrinha Ace.
It's a great option for riders of all levels who want a lightweight board with smooth flex and solid grip. It comes in sizes ranging from 120cm to 145cm. We're riding the 135x40cm, which is our personal favorite.
If you're looking for a board that's light, comfortable in chop, and still delivers great performance, the Ace is definitely worth a look.
