2023 Sabfoil Hydrofoil Lineup

2023 Sabfoil Hydrofoil Lineup

For 2023 Sabfoil (previously Moses foils) has cut through the confusion of their massive lineup of foils and parts. Most notably, their front wing selection. Rather than reading spec sheets until your eyes are bloodshot you can simply choose a “model” and then your appropriate size. Love a wing but want a smaller/larger size? No problem, just size up/down within the same model for comparable performance. Many existing wings fit into these model categories so if you have an old favorite, look out for some similar options. The new model ranges are Leviathan, Razor, Onda, Medusa, and Tortuga. With a range of 27 different front wings, you can rest assured that no matter your size, conditions, or riding style you’ll have a proper wingset available to meet your needs. Below, we’ve broken down the characteristics of each model and it’s available sizes. As always, feel free to reach out to our knowledgeable staff for personal recommendations and questions.

Use with T8 Fuselages. Popular stablizer choices include 380, 370, 425, 430, 480.

The Onda series is a surfy high aspect wing. It’s tapered design with ample thickness keeps a respectable low speed lift and pump-ability while retaining excellent top speed and glide. One of the most versatile wings in the Sabfoil lineup for wing, prone, sup, wake, and more. Use with T8 Fuselages. Popular stablizer choices include 380, 370, 425, 430, 480, 483, 450.

The Medusa series is rather similar to the Onda, only it has truncated, blunt wingtips for a narrower wingspan and less intimidating look. This gives them excellent maneuverability but does sacrifice some of the range and pump-ability compared to the Onda. The Medusa is a favorite for freestyle jumpers and wake foilers. Use with T8 Fuselages. Popular stablizer choices include 380, 370, 425, 430, 480.

The Tortuga wings include a bunch of Sabfoil/Moses staples. These wings are what has made Sabfoil so popular. They have excellent low speed lift and stability with intuitive maneuverability. They are all deceptively fast and glidey for their size/aspect ratio so they offer more performance than you might think on paper. The smaller sizes are popular for kiting, wake, and prone while the larger spectrum are favorites for winging and SUP. Use with T8 Fuselages. Popular stabilizer choices include 380, 370, 425, 430, 480.
