Welcome to the 11th annual King of the Great Lakes Kiteboarding Competition. It is hard to imagine we had 4 guys show up in 2001 and this year we expect 30-40 competitors and over 100 kiteboarders.

King of the Great Lakes is moving back to Grand Haven this year. Grand Haven is going to rock on the weekend of September 23-25 and that's why we are heading back into town. Check out the Indie Rock Festival and Grand Haven Art Walk all planned for the big weekend in GH.

Now you can play all day and rock and walk all night.

This year we expect to have a full range of 2012 Demo gear available from Cabrinha, Liquid Force, North, and Best Kiteboarding.

KoGL draws all the Midwest riders as well as many pros to the event annually. We will be running our standard events with free riding mixed in. A course racing event will be held both days if winds and waves permit.

This year's event will have something for everyone. Join in on a massive down winder, ride in the shelter of the pier, or just hang out and watch the crew throw down. Whatever your style, this is the event not to be missed this year.
