Slingshot Dominates the Triple S Invitational

The Triple S is the most progressive kiteboarding event in the industry and for many riders this is the future of the sport. One of the main reasons for the success of the Triple S was the support from REAL Watersports, and their building and fostering the progression of rail riding in the sport. They have the best Kite-Rail park in the world, so their location is prime for the event.

The 2013 Triple S Invitational finished up on Friday, June 7th with the Slingshot team showing the world their supremacy in this event. After nearly 7 full days of riding followed by 7 full nights of partying (which our riders represented just as well as they did in the water) Sam Light, Alex Fox and Eric Reinstra took every spot on the podium for the "Sliders Only” competition. And after the Surf and Slick competitions, Sam Light, Alex Fox and Eric Reinstra showed again the team's domination by winning the “overall competition” proving that they are the most complete and versatile riders in the industry.

And like that wasn’t enough, Alex Fox also surprised everyone with the "Rookie of the Year” win.
