How to Install a Cabrinha Fireball Spreader Bar on an Ion Harness
Hi, this is Tucker from MACkiteboarding.com and today I’m going to show you how to connect the 2017 Cabrinha Fireball spreader bar to an Ion Vertex harness. This will be the same for any other Ion harness, but the Vertex is one of our favorites.
- Disconnect the quick-connect, we’re going to put that on first.
- Find the right side of the harness - that’s where the quick-connect is going to go.
- Connect the fat strap of the harness. Still on the right side of the harness, we’re going to take the fat strap, start it first through the large front hole and then back through the second slot, and that’s going to come back to the strap cleat - the wider of the two.
- Go through the back hole, back forward through from the hole, cinch it tight, and call it good.
- Now to the skinnier strap. Put it on the lower section here, through the lower slot - just like the fat strap.
- On the other side, the left side, we’re going to have our hook facing upwards - not downwards, opposite of what you’re used to.
- We’re going to go through the first slot and then back through the second larger slot using the fat strap.
- Go back in the next slot (like the right side) and then back to the large strap cleat, feeding it through and cinching it tight.
- Now, we’ll take the smaller strap and go through the lower section slot and back to our strap cleat, again making sure you go through the rear section and then back through the frontal section.
That’s how it should look when you’re finished! Thanks guys, have fun shredding with the new Cabrinha Fireball system.
