MACkite's Nathan Compares Liquid Force and Best Kiteboards
MACkite Compares the Liquid Force Edge, the Best Spin, and the Best Spark Kiteboards
"It's dangerous to go alone, take this!" says the rather decrepit-looking older gentleman. You stare at the board thinking, Why did I choose to buy a kiteboard from a wizard? I should have just called MACkite. We've been there before, trying to scour for the latest and greatest while maintaining a price point (sans the creepy old wizards). Thankfully, if you're in the market for a kiteboard, we have lined up a few of our favorite package boards, the Liquid Force Edge, the Best Spin, and the Best Spark. Each of these chosen boards are able to give you the most "bang for your buck" at certain price points.
Liquid Force Edge
The Liquid Force Edge is a great way to start off into kiteboarding. A basic beginner board, the Edge offers a more stiff compression-molded core. A rounded toe-side rail and an abundant amount of surface area grace this board. At a low-cost price option, the Liquid Force Edge will help you slide into the sport without breaking the bank.
Best Spin
The Best Spin is a $100 upgrade from the Liquid Force Edge. The 2015 Best Spin features a softer, lighter wood core and fiberglass G10 fins. The Best Spin is one that will last for a long time.
Best Spark
The Best Spark is a $100 upgrade from the Best Spin. There are a few more bells and whistles that tout about this board, such as the X-Tension 3D Construction. With this construction, you're going to see less impact with chop and an increase in board speed. Similar to the Best Spin, the Best Spark is donned with G10 fins and ABS rails.
If you have any questions about choosing between the three boards, or of any other product we have in our store, or if you just want to chat about kiteboarding, please feel free to give us a call at 1-800-622-4655.
