Reedin Wing Pack | Everything a New Wing Foiler Needs to Get Started
Ready to start building your own wing foil quiver? The Reedin Wing Pack was designed from the ground up for exactly that moment.
Wing foiling has a reputation for being a gear-heavy sport with a steep learning curve and an expensive entry ticket. Reedin's new Wing Pack is a direct response to both of those concerns. Built around three purpose-built components, it bundles a wing, a foil, and a board into a single, thoughtfully priced package aimed squarely at riders coming out of lessons and ready to own their progression.
We sat down with Reedin co-founder and head of design Damien Girardin, alongside marketing manager Neils, to break down exactly what's in the box, why each piece was chosen, and what kind of rider this kit is built for.

What's in the Reedin Wing Pack
The pack includes three components: your wing, foil, and board.
The Reedin “PureNatural” Wing
- 3.0m, 4.0m, 4.5m, 5.0m, 5.5m, or 6.0m
The Reedin “Steward” Foil
- Front wing: 1480cm², 1880cm², or 2300cm²
- Stab: 271cm²
- Mast: 75cm aluminum
- Fuse: 63cm
The Reedin “Controller” Wing Foil Board
- 90L – 6’2” x 22 3/4” x 4 13/16”
- 115L – 6’6” x 24” x 5 5/8”
- 138L – 6’11” x 25 3/4” x 5 15/16”
Each piece was spec'd to work together and to give a new rider the fastest possible path from standing on the beach to confidently riding on foil.

The Board | Wide, Stable, and Built to Progress With
The board in this package is a wider-than-average mid-length shape. That width isn't accidental. Girardin was clear that easy takeoffs were the priority.
Key features of the Wing Pack board:
- Mid-length shape with a wider outline than Reedin's Feather line
- Full sandwich construction wrapped in glass for added durability
- Molded build that produces a strong outer skin while keeping weight low
- Three volume options: 90L, 115L, and 138L
Bigger riders or those still building foil confidence will appreciate having the 138L as an option. The 115L is the middle ground for most intermediate-sized riders coming out of instruction. The 90L is there for lighter or more experienced riders who are progressing faster than expected.
This isn't a board you'll outgrow in a season. The shape has enough performance headroom to stay relevant well into a rider's foiling journey.

The Foil | Proven Performance at a Friendlier Price
The Steward foil is derived from Reedin's Flight Attendant, a foil with an established track record among both learners and experienced wave riders.
What you need to know about the Steward Foil:
- Based on the Flight Attendant platform, known for smooth lift and easy handling
- Three front wing options: 1480 cm², 1880 cm², and 2300cm²
- Aluminum mast for stiffness and light overall weight
- Same stabilizer as the Flight Attendant series
- Simplified construction to hit an accessible price point without sacrificing the core flight characteristics
The rule of thumb on wing sizing is straightforward: heavier riders or those in consistently light wind should reach for the 2300 or 1880. Lighter riders or those in stronger conditions will be fine on the 1480. When in doubt, go bigger on the front wing. It will get you up and riding sooner.
Girardin noted that this is the same foil he personally used while learning. Pro riders like Parker have been spotted on the Flight Attendant’s smaller version for wave riding, which speaks to the design’s capabilities.

The Wing | The PureNatural
The PureNatural is the wing component of this package, and it carries a strong lineage. Its shape is closely based on the Reedin SuperNatural, a wing that dominated independent tests and reviews in its class last year.
Here's what carries over from the SuperNatural and what's been adapted:
- Same proven shape as the 2024 SuperNatural, known for stability and power
- Standard Dacron leading edge in place of the SuperNatural's Aerolight material
- Simplified construction for production efficiency and price accessibility
- Available in 3.0m, 4.0m, 4.5m, 5.0m, 5.5m, and 6.0m sizes
- Color-coded boom included standard

The boom deserves a separate mention. Many new riders learn on handle-equipped wings and are hesitant to switch. Reedin's answer is color-coding: red-handled grips mark the riding grip position, giving new riders a clear reference as they develop feel.
Girardin is direct about it: once you go boom, you don't go back to handles. The ability to grab anywhere along the boom is a real functional advantage, especially in variable conditions.
The boom on the PureNatural is a carbon tube with plastic fittings rather than the full-carbon construction on the premium SuperNatural boom. It still has foam padding at the front corners to protect both your head and your board. Light, functional, and well thought out for the price.

Who Is This Beginner Wing Foil Package For?
This pack was built for one rider profile: someone who just completed lessons and is ready to invest in their own gear.
It is not a clearance bundle of discontinued products. Every component was spec'd specifically for this use case, with progression in mind. The wide board gets you on foil fast. The Flight Attendant-based foil is forgiving enough to build confidence on, yet capable enough to stay in your quiver as your skills improve. The PureNatural wing delivers proven aerodynamic performance at a price that doesn't require a second mortgage.
If any of the following describe you, this pack is worth a serious look:
- You just finished a wing foiling lesson series and want your own gear
- You're switching from kiteboarding or surfing and want a clean entry into foiling
- You want a complete, matched kit that eliminates the guesswork of sourcing components separately
- Your budget is a priority, but you don't want to sacrifice performance

Key Takeaways
- The Reedin Wing Pack bundles a wing, foil, and board into a single entry-level package designed for post-lesson riders
- The board's wider mid-length shape prioritizes easy takeoffs and durable sandwich construction
- The Steward foil is derived from the Flight Attendant, a design trusted by both learners and experienced wave riders
- Front wing options (1480, 1880, and 2300) let riders choose based on weight and typical wind conditions
- The PureNatural wing is shaped directly from the award-winning SuperNatural but uses simplified materials to hit a lower price
- The boom comes standard and is color-coded to help new riders find their hand position
- This is a progression kit with real headroom, not a budget product designed to be replaced quickly
