Building on the balanced handling and user-friendly nature of the Vision platform, the Vision XL features light-wind-specific aerodynamic profiles, fuller wingtips, and optimized canopy tension to deliver increased low-end power, improved handling, and earlier planing performance.

The higher dihedral and swept wingtips greatly aid in keeping the tips clear of the water when getting up and going. How does it compare?

Versus Vision:

Both the Vision and Vision XL share many design similarities, but the refined profiles of the XL allow it to generate more power and drive in light threshold winds. As the Vision XL is specifically designed for light-wind performance, with less focus on the high end of the wind range, the overall canopy tension has also been refined to further enhance efficiency through a very clean canopy.

Versus Mantis:

While the Mantis has always been known as a powerful wing, in larger sizes the lower dihedral of its design limits effective performance, which is why Cabrinha does not offer the Mantis in these larger sizes.

The Vision XL, on the other hand, features a higher dihedral, reducing the possibility of tip catching while also improving visibility, a particularly important factor with larger wings.
