2026 Duotone Rebel D/LAB Review with Pierfrancesco
Brazilian Brothers with Pierfrancesco
The Brazilian Brothers have a very special guest. They are joined by Pierfrancesco Rizzello, a Duotone rider. After seeing him in the water in Guriu, Brazil, they couldn't believe the level he was at. While he might look like just a kid in Brazil, he is actually a three-time World Champion representing Duotone as an international rider on the global stage of kitesurfing.
The Brothers caught up with Pierfrancesco in Prea, where the conditions were pumping with winds between 25 and 30 knots. Pier was ready to send it with his Rebel D/LAB and show everyone the insane level he has reached at just 15 years old. Vamos!

Quiver Check: 2026 Rebel D/LAB
Before hitting the water, the team did a quick quiver check to see what gear Pier is using to handle the heavy winds in Prea. His setup includes:
- Kite: 8-meter Rebel D/LAB 2026
- Bar: Duotone Trust Bar (Small)
- Board: Duotone Jaime SLS
Why the Small Trust Bar?
Today, Pier chooses to run the small bar versus the big bar since the new Rebel D/LAB is a bit faster than the previous version. Because of his riding style with massive loops, the small bar provides the better feel and control he needs.

Performance in Prea
With the drone in the air and the wind holding steady at 25-30 knots, Pier took the 8-meter Rebel D/LAB out to show what it can do. The session was absolutely insane, with Pier performing high-level tricks, including the Kiteloop Osmosis. He made the 2026 Rebel D/LAB look amazing in the clear winds.
The 2026 Rebel D/LAB is a new kite from Duotone. Pier really enjoys the combination of that kite with the Trust Bar and the Jaime SLS. For his riding style, he finds it to be the best kite available.

Who's It For?
Pier recommends this setup for anyone who wants to improve their tricks and even for anyone who has the goal of becoming a pro rider one day. If you are looking to level up your riding, Pier believes this is the kite for you.

The Future for Pier Francesco
At only 15 years old, Pier already has three world championships under his belt. Looking toward the future, his goals are to become a world champion in every discipline and to continue becoming a better person every day. He plans to keep improving his tricks and hopes to build a successful career, not just in kiteboarding, but also in modeling and other ventures. Pier represents both Brazil and Italy on the global stage and continues to be an inspiration in the sport.
