From afar the Barrier Soft Helmet looks like a surf hat: perforated earholes, stiff brim, chin strap, low profile. Up close, however, you’ll notice the 2D laminated EVA protection pads that’ll save your melon from the glancing blow of a wayward foil or board.

Perfect Fit and Very Comfortable
I ordered the Barrier Soft Helmet just before our vacation to Cabarete for a week of wing foiling. By the sizing chart, I was right at the measurement between Medium and Large so I went with the large and it has been a good fit. The foiling instructor insisted on me wearing their hard helmet during the lessons but I have not had good comfort with them. They are either too tight on the front of my head or too loose overall so I wore the Barrier Soft Helmet under a larger hard helmet and it was very comfortable. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
