North High-V Split Kit | From Low-V to High-V in Minutes!
Have a low-V (or low-Y) bar that you want to use with a kite that works best with a high-V bar? There's no need for a whole new bar- for just a few bucks and a couple minutes of your time, you can convert your existing bar to be compatible with your Duotone, Core, Harlem, or F-One kite. Even better, the process is reversible, so you can switch it back as needed.
How Do I Use the High-V Split Kit?
Here's how to install the High-V Split Kit. Just reverse the steps to convert back to a low-V setup.
1. The high-V adapter installs on the two center lines. Identify the safety/flagging line and set it aside.

2. On the other center line, measure where you want the adapter to go (check your kite's manual) and put a mark with a Sharpie. Remove the pigtail from the end of this line.

3. The kit includes a sleeve that you can optionally use to protect your line. Slide this onto your line and over your mark.
4. Unscrew the cap on the adapter and thread the line into the hole that was inside the cap. Slide the adapter down to its split position and over the sleeving. Screw the cap back on.

Tip: If you lose or choose not to use the sleeve, you should periodically shift the position of the adapter so you don't wear out the line.
5. Remove the pigtail from the safety/flagging line and slide the line through the other hole in the adapter. It should be able to move freely so the kite can flag out.

6. Reconnect the pigtails to both lines. High five- you're now set up for high-V!
