Naish Blur Design Overview With Noah Hoffman
Noah Hoffman, Naish's Head of Wing and Foil Product Development, breaks down the design elements of the 2026 Naish Blur. Coming in two sizes (60L for high wind days and 80L for lighter sessions), the Blur is designed to be the best course racing and freerace style board on the market. To quote a popular movie, if you have a "need for speed," consider it your ally for all your wing foil racing needs.
Design Benefits & Features
Naish thoughtfully crafted the Blur to push riders' speed potential of their foils. The first thing you'll likely notice are the sharp rails. Releases are quicker off the water, no matter the wind conditions. Naish also built in both a standard foil box and deep Tuttle connection, meaning you can run the Blur with a dedicated race foil or a standard foil. The square outline lets you get over the rail of your foil, giving leverage and pushing harder while remaining in control. The stiff construction transfers the rider's input effectively into speed and stability while on foil.

Where the Blur really stands out is its balance of control and comfort. The rocket line and deck shaping makes it easy to settling into a harness line, lean into steep angles, or stay controlled at speed without overdoing it. You might notice a subtle front-foot lift, helping balance and hold upwind easier, even in chop. While it's designed as a race board, it's also a fun, freeride option that's surprisingly comfortable.

Who's the Naish Blur fo?
The Blur is the natural choice running high-performance foils and longer masts. You're pushing yourself against your friends, chasing personal bests, and testing the next best thing. More than just a tool for course racing, the Blur taps into your greater desire to catch more speed and chase the upper limits of your foil's potential.
