Max Tullet & the 2026 Duotone Rebel D/Lab: Pro Rider Insight
Meet the Future of Big Air: Max Tullet
If you have been following the Big Air scene lately, you have probably seen Max Tullet sending it.
At just 16 years old, Max has already established himself as a force to be reckoned with, especially after his recent sessions in the legendary conditions of Cape Town. The Brazilian Brothers caught up with Max to talk about his journey from a grom in the UK to a Duotone Pro Rider, and to get the inside scoop on the kite that is helping him reach new heights: the 2026 Duotone Rebel D/Lab.
From UK Chop to Cape Town Kickers
Max did not start his journey in the world-class waves of South Africa. He learned to kite with his dad back in the UK when he was just eight years old.
If you have ever kited in the UK, you know the conditions are far from easy. Dealing with onshore chop, gusty winds, and rain actually helped shape Max into the rider he is today. It gave him the technical edge and aggression needed to handle the 35-knot days in Cape Town with ease.
Max's progression was further accelerated through the Duotone Young Blood camps, where he trained alongside other rising stars and honed his skills with professional videographers and coaches.

The 2026 Duotone Rebel D/Lab: A Big Air Machine
When you are looking for the ultimate Big Air performance, you need a kite that provides massive lift and enough float to give you time for technical rotations.
According to Max, the new 2026 Rebel D/Lab is exactly that machine. The biggest difference this year is the implementation of new materials like the updated Aluula, making the kite lighter and more responsive than ever before. Max notes that it turns through kite loops like a machine and recovers quickly, ensuring you have the support you need when coming down from a massive jump.
Chasing the Crown: King of the Air
With his technicality and fearlessness, Max Tullet has his sights set on the biggest stage in kiteboarding: Red Bull King of the Air. While he is humble about his goals, he is focused on representing Duotone and showing the world what the next generation of riders can do.
Whether he is taking his board off mid-loop or charging into a three-meter wave, Max relies on the Rebel D/Lab to be in the right place every time.
If you are looking to elevate your own riding and experience the same lift and float that the pros trust, the 2026 Rebel D/Lab is waiting for you.
