Lift5 4'9 eFoil Overview
Eli from MACkite is joined by Corey from Lift to take a look at the Lift5 eFoil. This is the flagship model within the Lift Foils lineup, and Corey explains why that is, and who might be interested in one.
Lift5 4'9 eFoil Overview
The Lift5 4'9 is a full carbon fiber board. It ships complete with the quick-connect LCS (Lift Connect System) and a jet prop on the back. This setup also comes with the Elite hand controller. The 4'9 is one of the best-selling sizes of any of the Lift boards in the lineup.

Who's It For?
This specific model is geared toward intermediate riders. It is for someone who has ridden eFoils before and wants a bit more performance out of it. While it is not the top-of-the-line setup for high-level professional surf foil riders, it is more maneuverable than the family-friendly Lift5 F. It's for the rider who doesn't want a starter setup and is looking for the ability to enhance their gear and swap wings in and out.

Performance and Customization
Having the entire setup, including the mast, constructed from carbon fiber makes it responsive and lightweight. It performs amazingly well on the water and offers endless possibilities for customization. You can grow and evolve with the board as your riding progresses by adding different tail wings, front wings, and back wings to suit your needs. If you want something that provides a nice blend of performance, stability, and responsiveness, the Lift 5 4'9 delivers that in full.

Battery Options and Weight
The Lift 5 comes with the Gen 5 full-range battery, which weighs 30.6 lbs. A major benefit to this system is the optional Lift battery adapter. This is a thin, U-shaped insert that plugs into the board, allowing you to use the Lift Light battery. The Light battery weighs approximately 12.4 lbs, which dramatically decreases the weight of the overall setup.

LCS Quick-Connect System
The Lift Connect System, or LCS, makes it painless to set everything up. Because of this system, the entire setup can come together in about two minutes if you have everything on hand. It is efficient, quick, and convenient, getting you out on the water in no time.
