Foil Drive Mounting Made Easy with Konrad Click Nuts
In a way, a Foil Drive is an "easy button" for foiling. You can get up easier, it's easier to stay out longer, and it's easier to progress your skills with that extra time on the water. So if you like easy, you may like the Konrad Click Nut System for Foil Drive.
What Are Konrad Click Nuts?
Ryan's been using the Konrad Click Nuts with his foilboards for a while now, and he's excited to have them as an option for the Foil Drive. These replace your existing track mount hardware with a toolless system. If you've ever dropped your Torx driver in the sand or had to walk it back up to your car after assembling your board, you know what an advantage this can be.
The Konrad Foil Drive Click Nuts is a set of four pairs of hardware, each consisting of a track nut with a barrel and the screw with a wing to hand-tighten it.

How Do I Install Them?
Drop the nuts into your track, slide them into position, and then mount your Foil Drive and mast over the barrels. Thread a screw into each barrel and alternate tightening them bit by bit until all are nice and snug.

Now for the Click Nut magic. Toolless is already pretty fantastic, but these have one more trick up their sleeve. If any of the wings aren't parallel to the flow of water, simply pull up on them and realign them.

And that's it! Your Foil Drive and Mast are now securely attached to your board and the screws are aligned for the most efficient flow of water past them. It's a clever system that'll get you out and riding faster and easier. Catch you on the water!
