Foil Drive Fusion: Save Setup Time with the App

Ryan from MACkite is here with a tip to get you on the water faster with your Foil Drive Fusion. It's especially helpful when you are running with a trench board and you want to have your setup as ready to go as possible before you hit the beach.

Set Up your Fusion

First, get your board, Foil Drive Fusion, and foil ready to go as if you're already at the beach. As a quick refresher, take your Fusion unit and pop the caddy out of it. Take your fully charged battery, slide it in, and latch it. You will hear that it has power. Next, line it up with the track on your board to get a rough idea of where you want the bolts to sit, then pop it on and tighten those down.

Test the Remote and Open the App

Once the unit is in the board, turn your remote on and give it a quick test to make sure everything is good to go. After testing, shut your remote off. Now that you know your unit is ready, open up your Foil Drive app to turn off the Fusion battery.

Power Down Your Battery

Make sure you're on "GEN 2.5" in the app, then look for "Advanced Battery Health". If that is not showing up, make sure you download the latest version. To turn the battery off, follow these steps:

Tap "Advanced Battery Health"
Find your battery and tap it connect to it
The app will show you all the battery stats
Look for "Power Output," which will be toggled to ON
Toggle it OFF and confirm "Turn Off"

Now the battery is shut off and the unit is all ready to go. If you haven't been playing with this feature on your Foil Drive Fusion, definitely check it out.
