Duotone Rebel at a Glance

Duotone Rebel at a Glance

The aim of this video is to help you decide if the Duotone Rebel is the right kite for you.

What kind of kitesurfing kite is it?

Performance Freeride / Old School / Big Air

  • Lofty
  • Massive wind range
  • Rip-you-off-the-water feel
  • Easy to use

Who is this kite for?

The Rebel is one of the most unique-feeling pull-and-go kites. It's aimed at strictly hooked in riders who want an easy-to-use kite that feels aggressive. You can expect the Rebel to rip you off the water and be extremely lofty. It's a modern take on a classic kite and there has always been and likely will always be a demand for it. It's a different kind of big air kite from the Dice or Evo. Those kites are more aimed at kite loops and competition-level big air. The Rebel is made to make your life easier. The wind range is massive and the kite rocks upwind far too easily.

Who might not want this kite?

The Rebel is aimed at a specific kitesurfer for sure. The advanced kitesurfer who wants to focus on foiling, waves, or unhooked freestyle will probably not be as stoked on a Rebel. There are performance options in these categories as well.

For waves and foil, check out the Neo. For unhooked riding or advanced freestyle, advanced cross-offshore wave riding and kite loops, check out the Dice. For freeride, the Evo is the ticket. For unmatched freestyle, no kite in the lineup comes close to how epic the Vegas is.
