What Naish has to say about the Hover Wing Carbon Ultra
Our last generation Hover Wing Foil instantly set the standard in design, construction, and weight for the category. This new range of boards is perfectly suited for wing surfing, or to be used as a SUP foil board, SUP downwind foil board or prone foil surf. Changes to this updated model include a more overall rail curve in the outline, slightly narrower tails, increased nose rocker, and more pronounced bottom shaping and concave. Multiple foot strap insert positions, including wider stance options, give riders the opportunity to choose between a windsurfing style, double front strap setup, or a single surf style setup. The rocker is perfectly balanced so the board flies smoothly parallel to the water surface. Track boxes have been moved further back to better match with the multitude of different foils that riders may pair with the boards. The increased tail kick behind foil boxes combined with the beveled rail guarantees easy take odds and sufficient clearance in turns.
The carbon ultra layup, which now includes extra rail cap reinforcements and Kevlar patches when in high-stress areas gives these boards the lightweight edge minimizing swing weight and enhancing overall performance.

Additional Features For S26
- Due to their higher volume-to-length ratio and the option to ride with straps, the 40, 50 and 60 liter boards have gained in popularity. Those sizes have been fine-tuned to be used for both Wing-Suring and surf foiling. The foil track boxes and the tail kick were moved 1.5 inches towards the tail to increase options for lighter riders mounting their foils for surf foiling.
- All models have a decreased nose and tail width. This is more apparent on the smaller sizes up to the 95 and only slightly visible for sizes above 95. The result is reduced swing weight, benefiting its use with the Wing-surfer, especially in windier conditions.
- The foil track positioning has been moved closer to the tail on all sizes. This adjustment is more significant on the smaller sizes than on the bigger sizes.
- The tail kick was moved further back to align with the foil track boxes, lengthening the water line which results in earlier lift off.
- The double concave nose shape was accentuated, softening re-entry when coming off the foil.

Naish S26 Hover foil board
Love, love, love this board. 95 liter First Naish wing foil board I have owned and it’s great. After a few years of riding short, wide stubby boards, it’s so nice to be on a thinner “surfier” shape like the Hover. It’s much lighter than my previous boards and very responsive when on foil. It just feels so good under my feet and I also like seeing that surf nose instead of the blunt cut off nose. My Fanatic Aero foils fit and ride perfectly with this board so no problems using a different brand’s foils. I keep the foil about middle of the box works for me. A little late to the party as this board has been out there for a couple years, but Really happy I bought it.

Good all around wing board
I have use different boards shapes and volume. I went from 120L to 80L board and feel great when foiling but struggle to get on plane . The Hover at 95 still feel small enoght and can get on plane much easier. I weight 210lbs.

board and bag purchase
This was the first experience with mackiteboarding purchasing a wing board. There staff are very nolagable with setting me up with the equipment suited for my size. Unfortunately the board was damaged in shipping with a big gouge in the side of the box. A call to there customer service and they offered me option to remedy the problem the same day with a pleasant attitude. will be recommending them to all.

Nice
Zero complaints for my starter board at 125l. Has been solid and dependable. Using a 75cm mast as I’ve got better the rail sometime hits the water when I’m trying to go right in the wind at speed - the board just skips along without bogging down. Overall a solid choice.

Naish 110 UC
Bought this board as my light air machine and for practicing new moves. After a few months I can say this board ticks all the boxes. It’s one of the lighter boards out there w straps ( liter for liter) ;) The shape really is well thought out for all purpose use. Honestly don’t know what I’d change on a board this size. OK, maybe including a Naish decal or some foot straps.

Beautiful Board
Many thanks the the Mac team, they had this board on my doorstep within 24 hrs of my order! Granted I am in Michigan, but still, awesome service. I am impressed in every way with this board, least of all it fits in a 6' truck bed. I am 200 lbs, and this board floats enough to stand up and get started, but also to enough to get up-wing off foil. Construction was immaculate, and you can appreciate the lighter weight when you have to walk with this any distance. Like many things in boating, usually a graceful line equates to a good sailing board. This board looks the part for sure, and the rides great. at 31" wide, 124 L and 6' 4" long, you get a stable board that is short and light enough to ride most of the time if you are on the heavier side. I don't see myself growing out of this, because I don't like swimming, and this board will get me home. Deck is durable and comfortable, there is a slight concave to the deck but also a helpful ridge on the centerline to know by feel where your foot is. Handles fit 4 fingers and are not just recessed but have an overhang for added confidence, and your fingers won't slip out. (good if you don't want to drop a nice carbon board on pavement! If you can get the carbon for roughly 200+ more, I think it is well worth it and the board is gorgeous. Thanks MAC Kiteboarding!

Naish S26 110 Wing Board UC
Bought this board as my light air and learning new tricks board. I think they really nailed it. In Ultra Carbon it was only .6 pounds heavier than my old Fone 5’10” of the same size which is one of the lightest boards out there. The Naish has straps btw, Fone did not. So it’s a wash. ;) The shape is well thought out. I bounced the nose off the water on purpose and it bounces right back, I jibed low to catch a rail and it just skidded right off. It bounced up on foil w a thicker foil on and it slides up well w a HA. With the pulled-in nose, it felt much smaller than some other 5’10”s I’ve tried. It has a short flat area in the box area then a nice very subtle rocker to nose. Finish is one of the best out there. In this time of companies experimenting w a variety of shapes and bottom contours, Naish has been refining very slowly. She’s a keeper.

Hover 95L
I ordered the Hover Carbon 95L board with HA foil. All of it was great quality as expected from Naish. However I believe either I had a defective board or Naish was way generous with 95L of lift. I am 185lbs and it didn't come close to floating me. I have been riding a 114L a few inches longer so I really didn't expect much difference just less stick on touchdowns and a lighter board and It is definitely super light. But I had to start like a water start behind a boat but with a wing. When I put my feet on board I had to give it a good push down and pumped the pop up. During tacks if I touched it would torpedo even if it was a gentle touch. The Board was stiff and responsive out of the water as advertised but the water work was so wierd. I returned it and ate the shipping and restock fee. Total Bummer. I concidered the 110 but it was so similar to what I have at 114 and length and I doubt 110 is gonna be a recognizable difference from 95 and didn't want to gamble the shipping and restock again so I just ate it and returned it. I am really disappointed. I was looking forward to this board for a long time. HA foil was awesome and no complaint there. I suspect Naish shaved a lot of the nose and sides and thickness this year and stuck to the original rating. There is no way this board is 95L. So my advise is go with next size or two from what you expect. Unfortunately the 125 is longer than what I currently ride and 110 was the same so what's the point?
