Wake Hydrofoil Boards

For beginners or heavier riders, go for a longer board. We recommend trying a 3'10" to about 4'6"+ to help you progress.

Pro tip: For a more controlled ride, put the mast all the way back, to create an illusion of a smaller board, move it all the way forward.

Once you feel comfortable with your waterstarts to foil, you can look into dropping your board down to around a 3'3" (100cm). At that point, you're able to take your foil skills to the next level.

If you are a beginner hopping on a smaller board, with the right foil, natural board skills will get you in the right direction, but the decrease in board size will automatically send your weight back on the board, resulting in more lift.

A larger board gives you the ability to use the board's increased surface area and stability on the water, allowing you more time, and the option entirely to get up on foil. Since you have more board under you, relative to a 3 foot board, pumping and carving is going to feel more controlled and will get you in the right direction once you make the swap to a smaller board.

A smaller board decreases the barrier between you and the foil and without changing your foil, you will feel the change right away. The main changes you will find is the ability to make tighter turns and pump faster. Since you have less board altogether it loses stability. It makes you go from riding on a foilboard to driving.
