KoGL Test Fest 2019 - Sept 20th-22nd
Registration Fees: Save $10 by registering before the Monday before of the event (9/16)
It's that time of year again - the chance to party, ride, and play alongside the MACkite Crew and our kiteboarding Reps and Team Riders. For anyone that is curious about the sport, the Spectator option is a great way to get in touch with local kiteboarders and MACkite instructors. Enjoy learning about gear, being able to test out trainer kites, and spend some days out in the sun. Plus it gets you into the free exclusive Open house Saturday night dinner and party at the MACkite Board Sports Center on Hayes Street. For those looking to ride the latest and greatest gear while also getting the benefits of the parties and clinics, the Rider ticket is a great opportunity.
Where is KOGL hosted? The beach, of course! Where else are you going to ride? King of the Great Lakes hosts their daily events at Grand Haven City Beach. Evening events are held at MACkite Board Sports Center on Hayes Street (see directions below).
What should I bring? For spectators, it's a good idea to bring water, a snack, and the willingness to learn about a new sport. If you plan on using the trainer kite testing area, then we suggest wearing comfortable beach clothing. Party-Goers, the same goes to you! For Riders, you might want to bring a wetsuit.
What if there's no wind? That's okay! We have clinics going all day long, parties at night, and we have a slew of non-wind events for everyone to enjoy.
The MACkite Crew loves hosting King of the Great Lakes, and we really appreciate the support of our brands and attendees. Let's make 2019 KOGL the best one yet!

Loved it had a great time! I can't wait for next year!
Awesome event, thanks guys!
The concept is super cool and you have acess to all equipment. I think that brand reps should act more actively to the people interested in get to know their products... but super cool event.
What happen to our bag of swag?
The whole weekend was orchestrated perfectly. I am new to the sport and because of KOGL I met a bunch of dedicated kiteboarders and learned a ton.
The event itself was actually a series of smaller events. Kite tests, demos, tech talks, meals, and even a few beverages. Each activity was timed well and gave everybody ample time to talk with the pros, learn and enjoy themselves on the beach.
Thanks for a great weekend!
Good to go
