2025 Reedin Supernatural Review

The SuperNatural Wing was a shop favorite in 2024, and the new 2025 keeps that same magic with a few smart refinements. In this review, Jeff and Tucker both agreed that it still feels light, floaty, and easy to work with. It's got that rare blend of stability and performance, with smooth drift and a surly feel that makes it good at just about everything.

Reedin stiffened up the leading edge, giving the wing better control without losing that lively snap when pumping. The single-point Max Flow inflation system keeps things simple, while canopy and trailing edge reinforcements help the wing hold its shape.

Value is another huge win here. The SuperNatural delivers solid performance but at a price that stays in an acceptable range. Best of all, your 2024 sizes will blend seamlessly with 2025.

Progress never stops, and further testing and listening to a lot of rider feedback has led Reedin to improve the SUPERNATURAL even more. For each size they've meticulously balanced the pressure between front and back hands for a better balanced and more comfortable wing. The tighter canopy tension makes the wing more direct and improves free-fly stability even more. Carbon stringers inside the leading edge make the wing stiffer, and makes sure the wing holds its shape for much longer over time.

Details

The SuperNatural is extremely versatile. It'll let you start your wingfoiling journey, all through to riding waves, jumping massive, pulling tricks, and going for speed runs with your friends. It has incredible low-end power for early starts, high-end speed and superior upwind angles, with a very direct feel from the rigid frame.

Reedin designed the profile using their new and unique 100% vertical seams. This means that the vertical seams run all the way to the very front of the wing to avoid any shear transversal load on any seam. This translates into a much stiffer canopy. The stiffness makes for a very direct and tight wing in your hands when riding and ensure much longer longevity.

The tensioned canopy throughout the wing provides a very direct response and also minimizes flutter when sheeted out, or riding free-fly for unseen stability allowing you to focus 100% on your riding.

To further improve the overall rigidity, the SuperNatural now comes with a new carbon UD stringer. These are carbon yarns assembled at the maximum stress location of the the Leading Edge in order to minimize the LE deformation. This results in a wing that is so rigid that Reedin decided it makes the HyperNatural obsolete in their range. The rigidity is clearly impressive!

Tech Features:

1. Aerolight Frame
   New High Tenacity Polyester LE and strut allow for a better tensioned canopy, and an even more rigid wing, with a drastic weight reduction. Making SuperNatural one of the lightest wings with rigid handles on the market.
2. High tenacity trailing edge - Maintains shape integrity over time.
3. Carbon UD stringers - Carbon stringers inside the Leading Edge make the wing stiffer, and makes sure the wing holds its shape for much longer over time.
4. Lightweight soft battens - Keeps the trailing edge from fluttering while remaining very light and unable to damage your wing when packing.
5. Evolutive dihedral - Each size SuperNatural has a specifically tuned dihedral for an optimum projected wingspan. An increased dihedral also helps keep the wingtips out of the water and improves ease of use on larger sizes.
6. Vertical tension seams - Canopy seams are running vertically along the wing, each seam rigidifies and takes on most of the load, this provides a stiffer canopy that will have minimum deformation while riding and over time.
7. Tensioned canopy - For the most stable profile and wing, this provides a very direct feel with minimal flutter when riding and also ensures a very stable ride in both neutral style riding when you simply hold the wind in the wing using the front handle and riding position.
