The Housing Protector protects the Foil Drive battery compartment opening against damage and debris.

The Housing Protector is designed to protect the Foil Drive Max (or Slim) battery compartment internals and the front end of your housing during transport and storage. Additionally, in adherence with manufacturers instructions, the Housing Protector will NOT crush the o-ring seal or compromise its integrity as would leaving the nose cone installed and latched on the front of the unit. The protector does not contact the recessed o-ring seal and there is only a minimal latching force to hold the latches shut with nearly zero long-term pre-load.

1. It protects the blue alignment tabs from impacts 
2. It protects the o-ring seal and the internal cavity from debris. 
3. It aligns to the blue tabs and stays installed with a tight-tolerance minimal force fit.

Available for Max or Slim.

***Make sure to only install the housing protector once the housing is completely internally dry.
