Description

Waydoo Flyer Evo Max Plus eFoil

Size: 130L

Beginner; ideal for heavier riders, families, and first-time eFoilers

The Waydoo EVO Max Plus Package is built around the 130L EVO Max, the most stable and forgiving option in the Waydoo lineup. With its high volume and wide outline, this setup is designed to make learning to eFoil as stress-free as possible, especially for heavier riders or anyone new to water sports. It floats high at rest, stays composed at low speeds, and gives you plenty of time to find your balance before takeoff.

What sets the Max Plus apart is its integrated sensor system and Flight Assist technology. These onboard sensors work with Waydoo’s proprietary software to smooth out throttle input and assist with pitch control when needed. The result is easier starts, calmer touchdowns, and fewer unexpected stalls, which goes a long way toward building confidence early on. If you who want the absolute easiest learning curve available, this feature is a big deal.

The Max Plus is powered by Waydoo’s 6000W Performance propulsion unit and the 1800Wh battery (2300Wh battery available), delivering a stronger push along with longer ride times. While it’s not designed for aggressive carving or high-speed riding, that’s not the point. This setup prioritizes stability, safety, and consistency, making it a great option for families sharing one eFoil or those who want to cruise comfortably without feeling rushed to progress.

If your goal is the smoothest entry into eFoiling, maximum stability, and built-in assistance to help you succeed faster, the Waydoo EVO Max Plus is hard to beat.

  • Integrated Flight Assist sensors smooth throttle input and help manage pitch, making takeoffs and touchdowns calmer and more predictable
  • 6000W propulsion unit provides confident power without feeling abrupt or twitchy
  • Upgraded 2300Wh battery delivers longer run times, which is ideal for learning sessions, cruising, and sharing the board with friends or family
  • EPP construction is lightweight and impact-resistant, making it a safer option for newbies
  • Modular Waydoo EVO system allows future upgrades to wings, mast length, or components as skills progress
  • Built-in GPS enables ride mapping and can be used with the Waydoo app.

This is the setup we point riders toward when the priority is success on day one rather than pushing performance limits.

What to Consider When Choosing the Waydoo EVO Max Plus:

  • Board volume matters most for beginners. At 130L, the Max Plus offers significantly more stability than smaller options like the Pro Lite, which can reduce fatigue and frustration during early sessions
  • Sensor-assisted riding is unique to the Plus boards. If you want electronic assistance during takeoff and landing, the Max Plus delivers the most confidence-inspiring version of Waydoo’s Flight Assist
  • This setup favors stability over agility. If you're looking to carve hard, ride fast, or progress into performance foiling, you may eventually prefer a smaller board once skills improve
  • While lighter riders can absolutely use the Max Plus, its size and power really shine for riders who exceed the comfort range of smaller eFoils

What Waydoo Has to Say:

Designed for beginners, this eFoil board offers maximum stability, ensuring a secure and confident ride. It uses sensors and a proprietary algorithm with auto assistance when needed to make foiling easier. You can use a stabilizer wing extension rod or flyer pod to make it even easier.

The Waydoo Evo Max is a large, high-volume, stable board. It's designed to make learning to eFoil as easy as possible, particularly for heavier riders or those with little to no board experience. This board offers a reassuring level of stability, ensuring a confident and secure ride.

Features:

  • Programmable LED Underlighting - The mast head contains lights that illuminate the underside of your board. Great for cruising in twilight.
  • Fully Featured Digital Display - The Evo battery includes a digital display that allows you to program, diagnose, and observe the status of your Waydoo. The lighter 1800Wh battery provides agility on the water.
  • Modular Power Unit Design - The fuselage and mast of the Waydoo detach from each other. This allows for mast and motor replacement for a fraction of the cost. The standard version has an output power of 4000W, paired with the Glider G1500, and a maximum takeoff weight of 90kg. Want to upgrade to a carbon mast or a larger motor? It's easy with the Evo.
  • Power Sharing Available with Optional Fast Charger - The fast charger contains a built-in inverter and includes a power strip. Use your Evo battery as a power bank while you're off the grid!
  • Ride Sensor Capable (PRO Plus Boards only) - The Evo is equipped with ride sensor technology, and will have the ability to assist the rider with stability through throttle adjustment

Max Plus vs. Pro Lite vs. Master Plus

EVO Max Plus vs EVO Pro Lite vs EVO Master Plus

Choosing between these three really comes down to how much stability you want on day one versus how much performance you want long term.

Comparison Summary

  • Max Plus: Easiest and most stable. Best for first-timers, heavier riders, and families.
  • Pro Lite: Lighter, simpler, and more agile. Best for lighter riders and progression.
  • Master Plus: Fast and responsive. Best for confident riders who want room to grow.

EVO Max Plus

Best for: first-time riders, heavier riders, families, confidence-first learning

The Max Plus is all about confidence. With 130 liters of volume and a wide, stable outline, it gives riders time to think, balance, and breathe before takeoff. The built-in Flight Assist sensors smooth throttle input and help manage pitch, which makes starts and landings calmer and more predictable. This is the board we steer riders toward when they want the least intimidating learning curve possible.

It’s not designed to carve hard or feel playful. Instead, it prioritizes consistency, safety, and success from the very first session. Heavier riders and families sharing one board get the most value here.

EVO Pro Lite

Best for: lighter riders, progressing beginners, riders with board experience

The Pro Lite sits right in the middle. At 90L, it’s still forgiving, but noticeably more agile and easier to maneuver than the Max Plus. It doesn’t include sensors, so everything you feel comes directly from your inputs, which many riders prefer once they have basic balance figured out.

This is a great option for lighter riders or anyone with board sports experience who wants something that feels more playful without jumping all the way into a high-performance setup. It’s also easier to transport and handle off the water.

EVO Master Plus

Best for: confident riders, progression-focused foilers, performance-oriented sessions

The Master Plus is the performance option in this group. With a 75L carbon board, longer carbon mast, and sensor-assisted control, it delivers a much more responsive and refined ride. It reacts quickly to input, carves cleanly, and feels closer to a traditional foil board once you’re flying.

That responsiveness comes with a steeper learning curve. Beginners can ride it, but it demands better balance and cleaner technique, especially during starts and touchdowns. For riders who already have foil instincts and don’t want to outgrow their setup, this is the long-term play.
