Waydoo Flyer EVO "Build Your Own eFoil" Package
Build your Waydoo Flyer EVO around your riding goals. Choose your board, mast, wing, battery, and propulsion, then tune your ride from stable-and-easy to fast-and-responsive.
How to Choose Your eFoil Setup
- Board
- Max Plus 130L: easiest learning curve, heavier riders, families
- Pro Plus 90L: quicker response, still has sensor assist
- Pro Lite 90L: lighter, simpler, no sensors, best value
- Front Wing
- G1500: easiest lift and stability, best first wing
- C1500: Made from carbon. More speed and carve, still manageable
- G/C1100 wings: faster and looser, better once you’re confident. C1100 wings are made from carbon.
- Mast
- 27”: easier starts, fewer breaches, best for learning
- 35”: smoother ride, deeper carving, better in chop
- Battery
- 1800Wh: lighter feel, shorter sessions
- 2300Wh: longer ride time, better for sharing and long days
- Propulsion Unit
- 4000W: plenty for lighter riders and cruising
- 6000W: stronger takeoff, better for heavier riders and speed
- Charger
- Standard is fine for occasional riding
- Fast charger is worth it if you ride often or share batteries
Quick Setup Ideas
- Want the easiest setup? Max Plus 130L + G1500 + 27" Mast + 2300Wh Battery + 6000Wh Performance Unit
- What the strongest all-around feel? Pro Plus 90L + C1500 or G1500 + 27" Mast + 2300Wh Battery
- Want lighter + simpler? Pro Lite 90L + G1500 + 27" Mast + 1800Wh
If you’re unsure, start with a bigger wing and the 27" mast. Those two choices make learning noticeably easier.
The Waydoo Flyer EVO platform is one of our favorite “grow with you” eFoils because it’s modular in all the ways that matter. Instead of locking you into a single factory setup, this Build Your Own package lets you pick the pieces that match your size, skill level, and the kind of riding you’re actually stoked to do.
Want the easiest possible first sessions? Build it stable and forgiving. Already comfortable on boards and ready to carve? Build it lighter and more responsive.
Most riders get hung up on the same choices: board volume, wing size, mast length, and whether the bigger battery or stronger power unit is worth it. The good news is you don’t need to overthink it.
Bigger boards and larger wings make takeoff and low-speed riding easier, shorter masts feel more manageable while you’re learning, and the higher-capacity battery simply buys you more time on the water. On the other end of the spectrum, smaller boards and wings feel quicker and more lively, but they ask more of your balance and your technique.
