The sUP WINDer from Slingshot is the first of its kind stick on keel. *NOT FOR USE ON INFLATABLE BOARDS*
It installs in minutes transforming your standard SUP board into an efficient wingsurfing board. With the sUP WINDer installed, a wing in your hands, and a little technique, you can stay upwind and return home to the same place you launched from. Great for teaching first time wingsurfers and exploring your local waterways. Using wind power you will propel yourself across the water at far higher speeds, while expending less energy than traditional paddling. If you do decide to use your board for standard paddling the keel is easily removable, while the streamlines stick-on fin-box remains attached the bottom of your board. Slingshot SUP Winder
The SUP Winder is a game-changer. After a year of kiting with my SUP, I had mastered the art of staying upwind, but always at the expense of power. The SUP Winder lets me stay upwind with the wing farther forward, at full power, creating significantly more speed. I expect I'll eventually invest in a foil, but meanwhile this makes my SUP a lot more fun. HT to MACkite for fast shipping.

Awesome for learning to wing
The SUP Winder easily attached to one of my SUP boards to help me stay upwind while learning to wing. Its a great transitional piece that I'm using while learning to foil and wing... maybe one day at the same time ; )
