Gear Comparison: Naish ADX vs. ADX NVision
Nash has doubled down on their wing collection for 2026, with the latest update being a split between the ADX and ADX Nvision. While both wings are built with similar principles, there are distinct differences between the two. Naish's Head of Design, Noah Hoffman, breaks down the differences.
Construction Differences
The ADX is built with a traditional Dacron T-bone construction with a 2x2 canopy, with the center segments and trailing edge reinforced with a bit sitffer Dacron. This keeps the wing from deforming under load, making it a durable, reliable choice that can take everyday sessions. Stuff it in your bag, throw it in the car, and it'll keep going session after session.

The ADX NVision, on the other hand, uses Naish's GC82 Aluula material and Quad-Tex in the canopy. Aluula is about half the weight of Dacron and much stiffer, meaning the wing holds its shape better and has faster reactivity. The ADX NVision has a smaller leading edge diameter for less drag and better top speed performance. The GC82 Aluula material requires a bit more care but is still a durable option.
In terms of feel, both wings are very similar in terms of how you sheet in, how you ride, and where the pressure is located. Both wings feature Naish's new four-point interchangeable boom system, letting you ride a boom or two handles.
How durable is Aluula?
The truth is, Aluula is plenty strong. It's not quite as carefree as Dacron, though. If you're the type to leave your kite baking in the sun or tossing it around, the ADX will shrug it off better. The ADX NVision isn't fragile per se, but it you'll want to treat it with a little more care. Rinse it down, keep it away from sharp corners, and you'll be find. In return, you get one of the lightest, stiffest wings in Naish's line up.

On-Water Performance
Both wings share the same overall principles in shape and profile, so their basic feel is similar. Both will pull you forward, track upwind well, and power up smoothly. But once you're riding, the material differences start to stand out.
With the ADX, you're likely going to notice a predictable and steady feel. It's forgiving and comfortable for longer freeride sessions, and it's a great option for progressing riders who don't need the most technical wing yet.
The ADX NVision is going to feel sharper and faster. The Aluula frame offers better performance in low and top-end conditions. It holds it shape under heavy gusts, offering solid stability and easier control when lit. For freestyle tricks, downwinders, and racing, the extra stiffness of this wing definitely pays off.

Who's It For?
If you're looking for durability and value, or you're just starting out on your winging journey, go for the ADX. But, if you're after performance, powered-up riding, and instant reactivity and wide wind range performance, give the ADX NVision a try.
Naish didn't make the ADX and ADX NVision to compete with each other. Instead, they made each for two distinct riders. Either way, you're getting a wing built with the proven platform from Naish's previous models, with plenty of performance baked in.
