2023 Cabrinha Dealer Meeting in Cancun Event Recap

Aaron at MACkite- let's talk about the Cabrinha dealer meeting in Mexico!

We had an amazing trip down to Isla Blanca, Mexico, which is just north of Cancun. Our hopes were to ride and demo and give you guys some good insight into everything that is 03 Cabrinha. The weather was beautiful, but the wind was light and very onshore. There were lots of people foiling and winging, and some of the lighter riders were definitely getting out and winging on a regular basis. Cabrinha's got a little six-year-old shredder, by the way, who's just absolutely ridiculous, but a lot of the young grommets and lighter riders were all winging, and some other people were kite foiling throughout the week. There were a couple of 17s up with some big boards cruising around here and there, but overall it was very light.

The goal going into that week was to be able to come back and do reviews, insights, and first impressions of all the gear, but what we're going to do instead is to promise you that as we get our hands on the gear up here and can get on the water, we'll be bringing those to you as soon as we possibly can.

One really important takeaway for myself personally, and for the team here at MACkite, is that, wow, Cabrinha is back. And they're not only back: they are firing on all cylinders. I have complete confidence in them as an organization, as a team, in their product development, in taking things to market... anything that you might be concerned with as a Cabrinha rider. They've had a couple of hiccups here within recent years, but they've moved through that and they're under new ownership and are restructuring some things, and I gotta say it was really good. It feels great to look at that entire umbrella that is Cabrinha and know that it is all good to go.

I can't wait to get our hands on the gear and get on the water. I know I'm mixing the Kool-Aid a little strong, but it's been a while since I've been that stoked about it, so I just want to convey that and share that with you. Stand by, and we'll get that 03 Cabrinha product over to you just as soon as we possibly can. In the meantime, thank you, and I hope to see you on the water.
