Go Foil

Go Foil

GoFoil started with one simple question: how far can you go if you stop relying on power and let the ocean do the work. Born on Maui, these foils are built for glide, efficiency, and that locked-in feeling when everything finally clicks. Pure foiling, no shortcuts.

About Go Foil

GoFoil was founded by Alex Aguera, a lifelong waterman, shaper, and designer obsessed with speed, glide, and efficiency. In 2016, his early foil designs helped unlock a new way of riding, using paddle power and ocean energy instead of motors or tow assist. When those prototypes were tested downwind on Maui, the potential of modern foiling became obvious almost immediately. Since then, GoFoil has focused on high-modulus carbon construction, refined foil profiles, and durability that holds up to real use. Every design reflects Alex’s background in board shaping and his hands-on approach to development. The result is gear that rewards good technique, encourages progression, and keeps you flying longer with less effort.
