The Atmos Ultra is North's lightest freeride board to date, tipping the scale at just under 2kg. This twintip feels almost weightless underfoot, offering an incredibly lively ride and instant feedback.

North built the Ultra with a no-compromise mindset. They fine-tuned the flex and stiffness with an advanced carbon layup that delivers explosive energy release. With a refined rocker line and quad channel tips, you get strong upwind drive, smoother landings, and a medium-high curve outline that locks in grip.

While the Atmos Ultra isn't designed for the heaviest performance or landings, it's still a great option for all-day freeride fun thanks to its responsive handling and featherlight weight.

Technology

AirLite Foam Core:
The ultra-lightweight dual-density foam core minimizes weight while maintaining strength in high-load areas. Higher-density foam reinforcement under the heels prevents core crush.

Core-Load Distribution:
A Y-shaped Paulownia Wood core reinforcement helps to absorb impact. It runs in the direction of the load path to efficiently transfer the load from your bindings to the edge.

Ultra Carbon Technology:
The Ultra-carbon construction uses five different forms of carbon in two different moduli, so stiffness is optimum in some areas, while a little flex elsewhere is an asset.

Smoother, more forgiving ride:
The arrangement, thickness and orientation of the fibers in the engineered carbon layup give the Ultra a similar flex to the Atmos, resulting in a smoother, more shock-absorbent ride.

3DY-Beam Technology:
North exclusive 3DY Carbon Unidirectional tape with High Modulus Carbon reinforcement is run in the direction of the load paths, transferring the load from your bindings to the edge efficiently.

Double concave to deep-v spine:
Absorbs impact by breaking the water surface tension to deliver smooth, predictable landings. Edge channels outside of the double concave provide even greater edge control.

Medium-high outline curve:
Delivers easy carving through turns and always provides optimized grip.

Precise edge control:
Balanced rocker/outline/flex create a quick-response board for powerful upwind tracking and controlled boosts. Quad channel tips push water flow out towards the fins for effective tracking.
