When you need effortless glide and quick responsiveness on the water, the 2026 Naish Excalibur Front Wing delivers session after session. Designed with a 10.2 aspect ratio and a high-camber profile, you'll feel dependable low-end lift without sacrificing overall riding efficiency. The pronounced dihedral tip sweep keeps your turns fluid while helping prevent ventilation when pushing hard through chop. Combined with the stiff Alpha connection system, you get direct feedback underfoot that makes sizing down more approachable than ever.
What Naish has to say:
Capable of gliding effortlessly in all conditions, the Excalibur is Naish’s new high aspect. Designed as the successor to the Jet HA, the Excalibur features a high-aspect outline at 10.2 AR, a high-camber foil section, and a high modulus carbon construction. These features boost glide, lower stall speed, and improve feedback, making sizing down more attainable. The Excalibur also features a strong dihedral (upward) sweep in the tips to increase ventilation resistance and improve maneuverability. All of these features contribute to a foil which excels in disciplines that demand a balance of glide and maneuverability.
To maximize speed and glide, pair the Excalibur with an E-Series stabilizer. However, if you would like a surfier, more maneuverable feel, the S-Series stabilizer is a better choice.
Utilizing our new Alpha connection system, the Excalibur receives a 30% increase in connection stiffness over our previous Legacy system. Featuring a larger cross sectional area, two or three M8 bolt connection depending on size, and a sleeker profile, the Alpha connection system offers a more direct feel than ever.
Who is this for?
The Excalibur is designed for foil riders demanding a balance of high glide and turnability across wing foiling, foil assist, downwind, and SUP foiling. Whether you are seeking easy performance in lighter winds and small swell or pushing hard in open water, this wing provides stable support at low speeds paired with maneuverability in tight turns.
Design Profile:
High-aspect 10.2 AR outline featuring a high-camber foil profile, dihedral tip sweep, T700 and M30 High Modulus Carbon construction, and the Alpha connection interface.
Performance Features:
- Effortless glide and sustained speed with a 10.2 high-aspect ratio outline
- Early lift generation and lower stall speeds from the high-camber section
- Ventilation resistance and fluid carving control via dihedral upward tip sweep
- 30% increase in connection stiffness using the Alpha connection system
- T700 and M30 High Modulus Carbon construction for precise feedback
How does it compare?
Versus the Jet HA:
As the successor to the Jet HA, the Excalibur features an updated 10.2 high-aspect outline, high-camber foil section, high modulus carbon build, and strong dihedral tip sweep. These updates deliver noticeably longer glide, lower stall speeds, increased maneuverability, and clearer feedback underfoot, allowing riders to comfortably downsize their front wing.
Versus the Legacy Connection System:
The new Alpha connection system provides a 30% increase in connection stiffness over the previous Legacy system. Featuring a larger cross-sectional area, streamlined profile, and dedicated M8 bolt attachment points, it delivers a tighter, more direct control feel.
Design Features:
- High-Aspect Outline - A 10.2 AR profile engineered to carry speed longer and cover distance with minimal effort.
- High-Camber Section - Generates early lift at lower speeds so you start riding sooner and maintain support without stalling.
- High Modulus Carbon - T700 and M30 High Modulus Carbon construction optimizes structural rigidity and direct response.
- Dihedral Wingtips - Upward tip sweep improves ventilation resistance and keeps turns smooth in turbulent water conditions.
- Alpha Connection System - Delivers a 30% increase in joint stiffness over Legacy systems using a larger cross-sectional profile and M8 connection bolts.
Tech Specs:
- Carbon Layup - T700 + M30 High Modulus Carbon structure for high strength and minimal flex.
- Fuselage Interface - Alpha connection system using 2x M8 screws on sizes 544–744 and 3x M8 screws on sizes 844–1544.

Session Impressions
I just got off the water doing a little parawinging and then winging. I had the opportunity to ride the new 2026 Naish Excalibur 944. This foil features an aspect ratio of 10.2, and I had it paired with the 155 stabilizer.
This is probably one of my favorite Naish foils that I have ever ridden. What I love about it is that it is a surf foil you can turn, yet it is also a foil you can downwind with. While parawinging, I was able to glide effortlessly. It has an incredibly low stall speed, yet you can still carve beautifully. Naish did a really good job finding that sweet spot between a surf foil and a downwind foil, allowing you to do both.
Key takeaways from the session include:
- Versatility: It perfectly bridges the gap between a carving surf foil and a gliding downwind foil.
- Performance: It offers effortless glide, an incredibly low stall speed, and easy pumping to stay in the swell. You can just point and go.
- Sizing: At 175 lbs, the 944 is an excellent size for parawinging and downwinding. If I were using it predominantly for winging, I would probably size down.
Nice job to Naish with the new Excalibur. They are successfully targeting where the market is trending by delivering a surf foil that offers great glide, pumpability, and speed. It definitely checks those boxes for me as a single foil that works perfectly for both parawinging and winging.
