What KT has to say:
The Arc is a parawing focused design that also serves as a more stable midlength for winging and Foil Assist. Compared to the Super K2, it is slightly longer and wider, but significantly thinner, which makes it feel way lighter and responsive in the air. The recessed cockpit deck and concaves unlock a significant amount of static stability that helps riders move from kneeling to standing in light winds or messy water. Once flying, these subtle concaves offer more leverage over the foil, so surf style carves feel more controlled, swoopy, powerful, and pitch stable.
Features:
- Bottom
- Flatter streamlined double concave displacement tri plane hull tuned for minimal drag, rapid lift, clean touchdown recovery, and compatibility for foil assist systems.
- Softer, rounded feel on touchdowns and surface contact while keeping release fast and clean.
- Fast low-end acceleration for lighter winds and getting up on foil with parawinging.
- Rocker
- Lower nose entry angles tuned for fast lift and faster recovery in light wind, weak swell, and underpowered conditions.
- Less bottom rocker yet more deck rocker keeps the stance feeling level between front and rear foot, more comfort, more control, no awkward front foot height or “nose down” feeling at speed.
- Slightly more tail rocker than Super K2 adds clearance and leverage to push harder through swooping turns and for more pop without sacrificing touchdown recovery.
- Rails
- Super K2 inspired rail flow, almond through the aero nose, transitioning to a boxier tail section, then tapering into the harder beveled tail edges.
- Designed to improve water flow and reduce drag, with minimal tracking when the board reconnects with the surface.
- Controlled rebounds on touchdowns.
- Easy to redirect cross wind at low speeds and for take off.
Feeling:
Balanced all around design for fast takeoff, stability, intuitive handling, and agility. The Arc is designed to feel stable for getting standing with the parawing, wing, or foil assist.
The recessed deck helps settle in, lower your stance, and increases leverage like the tail kick of a skateboard, allowing you to push harder into the foil.
The thinner profile keeps the Arc responsive in the air, while the wider platform makes it easier to balance on the surface and through turns compared to downwind boards and narrower midlengths.
Speed:
Optimized aerodynamics, hydrodynamics, and volume distribution help the Arc accelerate efficiently while retaining stability. The shape hides volume without giving up as much stability as a narrower midlength or downwind board, especially during kneeling starts and transitions to standing. Once flying, the thinner profile and deck contours keep the board responsive in the air and smooth through speed changes, with predictable recovery when the board skips off the water.
Shape:
Stable midlength outline tuned for acceleration, glide, balance, and agility. Slightly longer and wider than Super K2, with a thinner standing area to keep the board light in the air and responsive to input. Recessed deck with concaves, bottom contours, and width increases stability at low speed and gives more leverage over the foil once flying, supporting surf style carving, low speed acceleration, and more controlled surface tracking.
Who It's For:
The Arc is designed for riders who want a more stable and surfy midlength platform for parawing, winging, and foil assist. The outline provides glide and acceleration, while the recessed deck and concaves make low end control feel settled and predictable in any conditions.
Once on foil, the Arc feels direct and engaged. The recessed deck lowers your stance and increases leverage, so it is easier to drive through snowboard-esq carves, load the foil, and commit to swopping turns without the board feeling thick or corky.
Construction:
Pro Carbon construction prioritizes strength and stiffness at minimal weight. An extra lightweight EPS core is wrapped in a full carbon high density exoskeleton and finished with biaxial and unidirectional carbon in a high density sandwich for rigidity and impact resistance. Integrated fiberglass windows tuned to 2.4 GHz support Foil Assist connectivity.
- Nearly 20% lighter than standard Carbon construction.
- Extra lightweight EPS core wrapped in a multilayer full carbon high density exoskeleton.
- Full biaxial and UD carbon high density sandwich for maximum stiffness and impact resistance.
- Integrated fiberglass windows tuned to 2.4 GHz for Foil Assist connectivity.
