• Tri-Radial Cut Canopy: The Diamond Heritage - The STREAM ONE features diamond cut construction in its canopy: a pioneering panel assembly technique at AFS, inherited directly from our Diamond V1.A Tri-Radial Cut wing is built around the optimization of panel orientation relative to load paths. The triangular panels align the canopy fibers along the direction of stress, exactly where forces are applied. This construction delivers tighter shape retention, increased resistance to deformation and stretch over time, and reinforced stability session after session.
• Dacron leading edge: A deliberate choice - The key difference between the STREAM and the STREAM ONE comes down to the central leading edge material: where the STREAM uses UPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene), the STREAM ONE goes with Dacron.
• Angle of incidence: The Real Secret of the STREAM ONE - This is where the development diverges between the STREAM and the STREAM ONE.The angle of attack of the canopy has been recalibrated to give the wing a different character: more relaxed, more forgiving than its big sister.The angle of incidence of the canopy and tips has been modified. By shifting the draft point rearward, we get a wing that's calmer, less aggressive: less forward drive and a better balance between speed and maneuverability.
