Details
Two years of refinement since the Flux V1 have led to significant improvements in sail shaping and tension management. Thanks to the switch to a stiffer Teijin Dacron and upgraded airframe design, the V2 delivers noticeably increased rigidity, stability and control compared to the V1.
Borrowed from Ozone's Flow wing, the Flux V2 features extended, EVA-covered carbon handles with ergonomic grip bumps. The longer front handle simplifies one-handed control and makes finding your sweet spot for one handed steering easier, opening up all sorts of expressive carving maneuvers in flat water. Meanwhile, the new, stiffer leading edge handle delivers high levels of control with the wing flagged out.

The triple rip-stop canopy material has an advanced coating to increase strength, rigidity and durability while improving feedback to the rider for a more direct feeling.
Overlap Flat Seams
Overlap flat seam construction improves sail control resulting in an overall cleaner canopy.
Horizontal Panels
Horizontal canopy panels and adjoining seams optimize load distribution through warp and weft of the material, improving feeling and reducing material stretch.
De-power/Surf Handle
The De-Power/Surf Handle on the Leading Edge makes handling the wing to and from the water easy while offering full control when riding with the wing flagged out behind you. It also features a soft knuckle padding for extra comfort.
Rigid Power Handles
Ergonomically angled front and back carbon fibre handles with EVA grip provide maximum control and comfort with incredible feel and response. The front handle mount features a soft bumper to protect your head and board during water starts.
Swivel Leash Line
The Swivel Leash Line features a strong Dyneema line with internal bungee core and an ultra light Stainless Steel swivel to keep the leash twist free. It connects to the wings Leading Edge via a loop-to-loop connection and can easily be removed if necessary.
Fast Flow Air Valves
Fast Flow Air Valves on both the Leading Edge and Strut makes inflation, deflation and packing a breeze.
Direct Connect Strut
Ozone's Direct Connect construction method improves load distribution between the Leading Edge, Strut and Canopy. The Strut is connected directly to the Leading Edge with internal and external reinforcements. This unique construction method ensures clean profiles are maintained with the optimum canopy tension.

What's on the inside counts too - Ozone uses top of the line materials and strategic internal reinforcements for increased strength and durability.
Reinforced Leading Edge and Strut
The Leading Edge and Struts are reinforced in high stress areas to ensure the kite canopy remains in shape and performs at its best.
Reinforced Trailing Edge
Trailing edge reinforcement with an internal lightweight Dyneema line reduces canopy wear and helps to maintain optimum trailing edge tension as designed.
Anti-Flap Rigid Battens
Rigid battens strategically positioned along the trailing edge improve canopy tension and reduce flutter - enhancing performance, feedback to the rider and reducing canopy material wear.
Low Profile Aerodynamic Scuff Pads
Leading Edge bumpers are often large and unnecessary cosmetic items. Ozone builds their kites and wings for performance and durability using the best materials and components available. Any areas requiring scuff protection use a lightweight durable material with superior abrasion resistance, while keeping a low profile in order to reduce drag and maintain performance.
Easy View Windows
Easy view windows on either side of the strut provide safety for you and others around.
Unique Bladder Construction
Ozone's bladders are constructed in-house with advanced custom built welding machines. Double layered sections are applied to any potential wear areas.
Harness Line Connection
A harness line can be attached around the handle mounts or tube for customized rider preference.
Wing Waist Strap
The Waist Strap is slim and lightweight with a strong buckle closure and size adjustment buckle. It connects to the Leash Line via a loop-to-loop connection. If you become overpowered or lose control let go of the wing and it will de-power on the Leash Line. Flux wings ship standard with a Waist Strap pre-attached to the Leash Line.
