Two years of refinement since the Flux V1 have led to significant improvements in sail shaping and tension management.
The new, full Aluula air frame has allowed Ozone to design a reduced diameter, stiffer leading edge for even more performance, higher top speeds, increased stiffness, and reduced weight for unmatched handling.
Borrowed from Ozone's Flow wing, the Flux V2 Ultra-X features extended, EVA-covered carbon handles with ergonomic grip bumps. The longer front handle simplifies one-handed control and makes finding your sweet spot for one handed steering easier, opening up all sorts of expressive carving maneuvers in flat water. Meanwhile, the new, stiffer leading edge handle delivers high levels of control with the wing flagged out.

Aluula Performance Airframe
Aluula can provide a tensile strength increase of as much as 38% compared to standard material construction, while tear strength is up to seven times greater. Careful integration of Aluula can also deliver up to a 30% weight saving overall.

The Leading Edge and Struts are reinforced in high stress areas to ensure the kite canopy remains in shape and performs at its best.
De-power/Surf Handle
The De-Power/Surf Handle on the Leading Edge makes handling the wing to and from the water easy while offering full control when riding with the wing flagged out behind you. It also features a soft knuckle padding for extra comfort.
Teijin TechnoForce Triple Ripstop Canopy

The triple rip-stop canopy material has an advanced coating to increase strength, rigidity and durability while improving feedback to the rider for a more direct feeling.
Overlap Flat Seams
Overlap flat seam construction improves sail control resulting in an overall cleaner canopy.
Horizontal Panels
Horizontal canopy panels and adjoining seams optimize load distribution through warp and weft of the material, improving feeling and reducing material stretch.
Rigid Power Handles
Ergonomically angled front and back carbon fiber handles with EVA grip provide maximum control and comfort with incredible feel and response. The front handle mount features a soft bumper to protect your head and board during water starts.
Harness Line Connection
A harness line can be attached around the handle mounts or tube for customized rider preference.
Swivel Leash Line
The Swivel Leash Line features a strong Dyneema line with internal bungee core and an ultra light Stainless Steel swivel to keep the leash twist free. It connects to the wings Leading Edge via a loop-to-loop connection and can easily be removed if necessary.
Fast Flow Air Valves
Fast Flow Air Valves on both the Leading Edge and Strut makes inflation, deflation and packing a breeze.
Direct Connect Strut
Ozone's Direct Connect construction method improves load distribution between the Leading Edge, Strut and Canopy. The Strut is connected directly to the Leading Edge with internal and external reinforcements. This unique construction method ensures clean profiles are maintained with the optimum canopy tension.

Low Profile Aerodynamic Scuff Pads
Leading Edge bumpers are often large and unnecessary cosmetic items. Ozone builds their kites and wings for performance and durability using the best materials and components available. Any areas requiring scuff protection use a lightweight durable material with superior abrasion resistance, while keeping a low profile in order to reduce drag and maintain performance.

Easy view windows on either side of the strut provide safety for you and others around.
Unique Bladder Construction
Ozone's bladders are constructed in-house with advanced custom built welding machines. Double layered sections are applied to any potential wear areas.
Wing Waist Padded Belt
Find an extra level of comfort and support compared to the standard webbing waist strap. The Wing Waist Padded Belt is a very lightweight EVA product for those who occasionally hook-in but still want to prioritise freedom of movement without committing to a full harness feel.
Wing Harness Line
The Wing Harness Line is a slim and lightweight design with an internal bungee contracting when unhooked to stay out of the way. Comes pre-attached to the handles, but can easily be removed if not needed.

Compressor Bag:
