Details

The Loft Pro's deep profile and ultra-stiff N-Weave45 and Carbon UDi airframe provides the most efficient power delivery per m2, carrying you through the lulls and converting the slightest puff into powerful forward momentum.

The Loft Pro now comes with North's proven ShiftLock Modular Track mounting system, so you can slide and lock any length handles (or boom) into any position along the strut. Thanks to patented Carbon UDi Technology within the LE, they've been able to maintain the same airframe stiffness with a significantly reduced LE diameter. The thinner LE creates a lighter-weight, more agile wing and gives the Loft Pro a slimmer overall profile, reducing drag and improving upwind angles.

The Loft Pro is very compact for a wing this size. For 2025 North has further reduced the tip-to-tip span, helping prevent tip-strike. The center part of the LE has less sweep, and they reduced the radius toward the tips, bringing the wingtips further forward. This moves the center of lift forward and enables more positive nose lift through maneuvers, with easier jibes, tacks and low-speed transitions. Concentrating the weight in the center of the wing keeps the tips and canopy light for easy handling and stability, especially in lighter wind. The uniquely shaped dihedral helps to stabilize the wing, and slightly more profile in the wingtips helps the wing to fly on more of a 45-degree angle so you're less likely to catch a wingtip in the water. It also helps you to maintain a stable, neutral position when you're trailering or walking to the water.

A new radial panel layout works in harmony with the load diffusers on the end of the strut and wingtip to distribute tension more evenly in defined load directions across the canopy, creating a cleaner canopy with less distortion, which results in reduced drag. The Loft Pro's manageable span width is tailored to fit every rider. Follow rider size recommendations to choose just one Loft Pro size for your quiver and end your wait for wind.

Riding Styles

Specs:

* Two Hyperflow inflation valves allow independent pressure in strut and LE. The connecting hose allows rapid single-point inflation. Wing size is dependent on rider weight, ability and foil setup.

Super-Efficient Low-End Power
A deep profile and stiff frame enable efficient power delivery to get you up on foil without needing to pump. The wing's framing is very stiff and reactive, for direct power and forward drive.

Lighter and More Precise Handling
Refined outline and profile section, reduced tip-to-tip span, less swept LE, and reduced radius toward the tips for easier handling and stability, especially in lighter wind.

Balanced Load Distribution
The entry profile has been refined for more positive nose-lift through maneuvers. Weight is concentrated in the wing’s center, keeping the tips and canopy light with a low swing weight.

Thinner Leading Edge
Reduced LE diameter creates a lighter weight, more agile and streamlined wing, with a slimmer overall profile, for reduced drag and better upwind angles. Carbon UDi helps maintain stiffness.

Balanced Trailering
Uniquely shaped dihedral helps you maintain a stable, neutral position when trailering, and slightly more wingtip profile helps the wing fly on more of a 45-degree angle, reducing tip-strike.

Reduced Tip-Strike
The lower span width means you’re less likely to catch a wingtip, while the wingtip curvature means if you do touch the water, there’s less drag and an improved chance of recovery.

Refined, Weight-Saving Design
Engineered to feel as light as possible with thinner LE, lightest bladders, fewer LE segments and seams, no scuff guards, and N-HTRS canopy material – it handles like a much smaller wing.

Carbon UDi Technology
Lightweight anti-deflection UD carbon tapes are run inside the entire leading edge for additional support, resulting in an even more reactive airframe that snaps back into shape faster.

Stiff N-Weave45 Airframe
High-tensile woven fiber with a 45-deg laminate for biaxial and torsional control, lower deflection and movement. N-Weave45 creates a stiffer, lighter rig with highly efficient power delivery.

Ergonomically Shaped GeoStrut
The N-Weave45 Strut is contoured for added rider comfort and integrated with our ShiftLock Modular Track System, which adds another layer of stiffness for improved light wind performance.

ShiftLock Modular Track System
Intuitive modular handle system lets you slide and lock any length handles (or boom) into any position on strut. We recommend the 1100mm Boom, 2x 500mm handles or 400 J-Handle in the front.

Choose Only One Wing Size
The span width is tailored to different riders - the 8m is suited to a heavier or taller rider, the 6m to a lighter or smaller rider. All sizes are optimised for maximum low-end ability.

Connected Dual HyperFlow Valves
The independent LE valve and Strut valve are connected by a hose with clip, enabling higher pressure inflation of the strut than LE, and fast inflation and deflation from a single point.

Pair with an Efficient Hydrofoil
A low stall-speed foil helps you maintain lift through the lulls and enables easier transitions at slower speeds. The Surf, Downwind, or larger MA Series are ideal for light wind winging.
