Skip spent a few days comparing the Mystic Stage to its kin, the Wingman and Carbon X. After a few sessions out, he found it to be a solid choice for those who want support without committing to bulk. Compared to the original Wingman, the Stage is a big step forward with its double Velcro closure, which holds securely and doesn't flop around. Skip also liked the nylon sliding hook, as it moves away from your board easily to help prevent dings and pivots. While it doesn't offer the same back support as the Carbon X, Skip believes it still offers enough stability to comfortably lean into harness lines and extend sessions.

If you're new to riding with a harness or prefer a minimal, low-profile design, the Mystic Stage gives you the benefits of a harness without the bulk.
