SURF / DOWNWIND
The POW is designed for dynamic surfing with various boards - whether on the water, beaches, or frozen lakes. Details
The POW (Pop Out Wing) is built for riders who demand precision, efficiency, and user-friendliness. Whether you're gliding over water, cruising along the beach, or exploring new terrains, this parawing offers unparalleled stability, handling, and performance.
The POW is tuned for intuitive handling in any weather condition. With over a decade of experience in single-skin technologies, it is built for downwind foiling, freeride cruising, and multi-terrain adventures. Experience the freedom of single-skin parawing innovation – ride the POW and use it wherever you want!
Developed from the ground up – not modified from existing wings – the POW redefines the performance of single-skin parawings. The camber controlled by the mixer ensures smooth power delivery, while the consistent bridle line length across all sizes allows you to easily gather the lines and stow the wing on the water.
Durability and comfort go hand in hand with an ergonomic carbon handle that reduces fatigue during long sessions. Anti-flutter ribs enhance stability and eliminate unwanted vibrations, while coated bridle lines increase safety and protect against wear.
Specs
Wind Range
The wind range chart is to be used as a point of reference. It is based on a rider who weighs around 75kg (165lbs). Actual use will vary depending on your weight, skill level, board size/type (twintip or hydrofoil) and wind conditions on water or land. When choosing a kite size, always use common sense and choose a smaller size if you are not sure, especially when using the kite on land.
Wing Specs
Size | Weight (kg) | Bridle Length (cm) | Aspect Ratio |
---|---|---|---|
1.7 | .6 | 1651 | 2.8 |
2.5 | .68 | 1898 | 2.8 |
4.0 | .82 | 2265 | 2.8 |
Tech Features:
ERGONOMIC CARBON HANDLE
The 42 cm long carbon handle with an ergonomic front improves handling and increases comfort. It is designed for a natural wrist position and ensures effortless and intuitive wing control. The ergonomic handle offers maximum comfort during long sessions, precise control, and reduced strain on hands and arms. It also allows easy access to the bridle line attachment and facilitates replacement.
BRIDLE ATTACHMENT
A removable protective cap allows easy access to the bridle attachment - use a flat screwdriver on the Carbon Handle. The bridle is securely locked into the Carbon Handle with a metal pin, ensuring a strong connection while allowing for quick and hassle-free replacements.
THE MIXER
The Mixer automatically controls the wing's camber profile and balance. This system ensures efficient power delivery and optimizes performance in various wind conditions. Connected by a Velcro strap to the Carbon Handle, the Mixer sits precisely 15 cm from the A-Level attachment point. Re-adjust if needed.
PULLEY-CONTROLLED CAMBER
The precision bridleline alignment allows self-stabilization, making the parawing highly reactive. This system ensures efficient power delivery, optimizing balance in various wind conditions. The immediate stall behavior enhances safety and control when needed, giving the rider complete confidence.
ANTI-FLUTTER RIBS
The anti-flutter ribs eliminate unwanted vibrations, ensuring predictability and enhancing stability and control. Reducing turbulence, especially in gusty conditions, improves overall handling, efficiency, and durability.
COATED VISIBLE BRIDLE LINES
The coated bridle lines are highly visible under water and are less likely to snag than thin lines. The coating protects the core, minimizes wear, and safeguards your hands. The choice of materials is designed for safety and long-lasting durability.
