Lots of fun and built well. Bounced it off the ice a few times with no damage.

Hopefully a good learning tool. My 12 & 14 year old boys can handle it, if it isn't too windy.

Easy to Fly - very compact

Posted by Brian D on 6th Jun 2019

I've flown this trainer about half a dozen times so far. It's super easy to launch solo and has great traction. I even brought it on a recent vacation to Mexico and flew it there. Love the whistling sound it makes in strong winds and gives some great lift too... dragging and jumping! It packed up super small in my luggage and hardly took up any space at all. The guys at MacKite were super helpful as well helping me to choose my trainer kite.

B3 Trainer Kite to learn to kiteboard

Posted by Dana S. on 28th Jul 2017

I'm an instructor for beginner kiteboarding - the B3 is a great tool to learn kite position and flies well in almost no wind. Jump on a skateboard or landboard and it has some solid pull. I would recommend installing a centered bungee cord tied to an old chicken loop you can hook into your harness, and extend some line to make a real release at the loop. This will mimic a real kite pull at the waist [without the danger of damaging the kite or overpowered situations]. Best trainer kite or small land/fun kite for the money. Thanks Slingshot!
