Years of intensive research and testing the lightest materials available for Kites and Paragliders has allowed us to create the Explore V1 Ultralight to increase performance without compromising durability. We have refined every construction detail to be as weight efficient as possible, resulting in one of the lightest de-power snowkites on the market starting at 600 grams!

The Explore V1 Ultralight is powerful for its size and delivers consistent pull throughout the wind window. It de-powers instantly without surging across the middle of the window, and generates minimal upward lift making it very user friendly to learn on. It is comfortable to fly due to the relatively slow flying speed, and the single surface design means it is exceptionally resistant to crash damage. These characteristics make the Explore an amazing kite for entry level and intermediate riders, providing the confidence to progress and improve your Snowkiting skills.

For the advanced rider it offers a whole new feeling, opening up new ways of riding and pushing the boundaries. It has versatile handling depending on your ability - tight and dynamic or slow lazy loops, both essential for navigating difficult terrain. Riding down slopes with the kite de-powered up high or to the side allows more concentration on riding and less worry about the kite.

For experts on backcountry missions or touring expeditions, the ultra lightweight design means it can fly in very light wind, allowing you to work the low end efficiently without having to worry about keeping the kite in the sky. The Explore V1 Ultralight launches in light winds, stays in the air easily in gusty conditions, and is super reactive even in the lightest breeze.

The single surface design combined with lightweight materials makes it very compact and easy to pack multiple kites into one technical backpack. To reduce weight and packing volume even further we use unsheathed spliced and stitched bridle line. This line is not just light and thin, it also reduces parasitic drag resulting in fast flying and tight turns.

When it’s time to take a break or pack away you will find the Explore easy to land as it incorporates our industry-leading Internal Re-Ride Release System. This effective, easy to use, self-landing system means you can land the kite quickly whenever needed and it will remain in an open position ready to be re-launched.

Innovative Click-In Loop
An all-new push-away quick release with an innovative one-step Click-In reload function that is incredibly intuitive. The release handle fits comfortably in the hand, it is quick and easy to activate the release by pushing the handle away. IMPORTANT NOTES:

• The kite is water re-launch-able, but we recommend that you keep it flying and out of the water if possible! A drainage system on the wing tip allows any water that may have entered the kite to drain out. Do not use the kite in waves.
• Always use a Brake Handle when flying a foil kite. This is the handle/line spanned between the back leader lines on your control system. This easy to grab handle makes inflation, self-landing and reverse launch easier.
• This kite features a simple yet effective front line flag out release in 4-Line Closed Cell mode. The 5-line Open Cell mode is recommended for Snow or Land use only. The air intake valves MUST be open when using 5-line mode – if the valves are not set open this will compromise the functionality of the Internal Re-ride Release System and could cause to damage to the kite. After releasing the flag out you should check the speed system, bridle lines and flying lines for twists before restart.
• Speed System and Bridle lines should be regularly checked and maintained in the correct trim or the kite will not perform as designed.
